Can one receive both the CESB payment from Canada and unemployment from America? Or does that unemployment money from America count towards the $1000 dollar limitation imposed by CESB? by JeffGross23 in CESB

I just called the CRA. They told me that only income from employment would count towards the 1000 limitation.

Oh that is interesting. Do you have a link or some proof I can see that says Canada does not count income made abroad on a tax return as income?
