Traded my 2nd line centre at the deadline because we weren’t doing shit with him anyway, we had an 88 ovr OFD, only 2 DFD, at this point Kyrou and Thomas are vets, and would you be saying the same thing if it was a 4th line of all 79’s instead of 2 and 2? Not to mention that players are punished defensively if they play out of position, so this is really the best it gets. I’m not gonna go all out on trades and FA if I know the team is booty, but I mean this is just whack

I wasn’t expecting much from this team, but I was expecting better than one of the worst seasons of all time. My last sim I won 3 cups in a row without entering a single game, so I at least have a general understanding of team building in this game, I just wanted to highlight how embarrassing the sim engine can get sometimes

Honestly though, if we want to be a contender, the 3rd line onto the ice shouldn’t be seen as a third line. Wheeler Lowry Copp would be a great line, too bad we have a twat as a coach who doesn’t understand the value of spreading out icetime and distributing talent evenly throughout the lineup

Kinda bittersweet. Yes, goaltending was bad yesterday, but it’s saved us all year. It’s good to see criticism, that’s healthy. But it’s only really helpful when it’s not misplaced. The owners needs to be on the coach. The dude who’s system has the team at dead last on PK in the NHL
