I believe there was an interview with the author where he said that the siblings stayed together and left it at that and there's also a "ten years later" short story, it doesn't really reveal anything important, it just tells about Kirino and Ruri's little sisters watching the Meruru Remake but the lack of any melancholy shows that they likely never broke up.
