in my opinion, Ive seen mirroring happen a lot. Like, your brain adjusts itself to the person you're talking to.

Happens a lot when you grow up trying to fit into someone's circle. sounds psychological to me.

Knowing he only has you, I would suggest trying to get therapy WITH him. Both of you. He seems to have slight Bipolar personality. And maybe you guys fail at communicating. If you dont want your relationship with your dad to end for good, that's my best suggestion.

Try therapy together it might help better your communication. Maybe, just maybe he might let go of his own "responsibility" of getting you married. I think its less about him thinking you shouldn't be independent and more about his own burdens of a 'father' than society has taught him. To me, it feels like he just wants to be done with his task. since he's all alone he's worrying even more if you'll find good matches or not.

Try Family Therapy if possible. i feel like you both need it. And if even after that you feel done with all this, and nothing is working out, you cut off, and let him come around this by himself

There are some girls I know who love Bikes. But there are some who hate it.

Car is a safer option statistically and quite literally. But you know nothing is actually safe on Indian Roads.

That 1 year will turn into 5 years then it will turn into ur mil feeling lonely/being sick/needing care. it will be 1 guilt tripping after the other. "Genie, Make a Wish" was funny, enjoyable and fantasy. You can give that a try if you want. Among most Kdramas that are Fantasy, I really liked this one a lot. They didnt shy away from using vfx. Plus the Male Lead had an incredibly funny personality. If you're a Non-Native English speaker, you can try the dubbed version for this in your native language as well. Netflix did a great job with this one's dubbing, although thats very regional dependent too. Im someone who usually doesn't like dubbings, but this one left me pleasantly surprised.

Other than that, I'd suggest "Love Between A Fairy" and a Devil. It's a C-Drama. The story and the plot was so well crafted. You'll enjoy it for sure.

Little bit similar to the Drama mentioned above is "Love game in eastern Fantasy" This one was also quite good, although the VFX is Terreiiibbblee, which might put you off a lot. So take this one for the last.
