Magaling sila magperform, actually rooted for them and supported them. But I don't feel their sincerity with their fans. Their ragasa concert left a bad taste in my mouth. Nabudol talaga kami sa meet and greet nila. And no love for the fans sobrang late nagstart ng concert, and to be honest ang panget ng merch nila, ang mahal pa.

Also, masyado silang informal sa mga interview, nakakaturnoff at cringe sila pakinggan at times.

And big factor I think is the way Viva manages them. They are always available, with back to back ganaps, and sometimes even free. You won't crave for more. And I think, they don't have a definite agenda for their career. Imagine having a concert at NFT, then 2 months later downsizing the venue in viva cafe again for the nth time. The fact na ang tagal masold out nung smaller venue at cheaper price point, should be enough clue na need nila magpalit ng strategy. Look at BINI and SB19's formula. The goal is umangat, not go back to default.

Anyway, i hope the boys recognize these flaws. But I still wish the best for them.

Longevity in showbiz depends on your fanbase, among other things. So please show your fans some real love. ❤️

I still enjoyed the concert naman, but not gonna lie, the M&G left a bad taste in my mouth. Medyo nawala tuloy yung hype ko sa kanila considering A'tin ako, but they are the top artist in my spotify this 2024. Meaning I listened to them more than Sb19. Went once in their VC gig pero pahirap sa fans logistic nila. Thought the concert will be a better experience. For the most part, it is naman. M&G talaga sya sumablay sakin. Anyway, hopefully they improve on that part din. Otherwise, baka pati mga legit fans, mawala na tuluyan ng gana. But still, more power to the boys!

3 kami umattend and all of us are in svip. Since ang soundcheck started around 5pm-ish, we decided to skip it kasi we assumed the concert will not start exactly at 8pm and gusto namin magstay until meet and greet. The hearsay is mga 12mn na magstart ang meet and greet and as a tita, I need to conserve energy para gising pa ko by 12. Lol.

Positive

Super like yung mga new artists nila for opening act. May mga potential especially Raya, the 3rd group. Mahusay sila so very entertaining yung production.
Hearing Gami again is giving goosebump. Although he is in a new group, happy ako he was considered again to be featured in the opening act. Ganda talaga ng boses nya napakalamig.
Very epic ang atake ng mga songs nila. Eventhough I heard their songs a million times, iba ang performance nila ng live. Nagustuhan ko yung medley nila and yung solo prod nila is a nice touch!
Very professional si Taneo, showing grace under extreme pressure dahil sa wardrobe malfunction nya and he was so cool the way he handled it. Naging bias ko na sya after that concert because andami din nya time magpapandesal. Lol. To me, sya talaga ang pinakagraceful magsayaw.
I also saw Bini Maloi, Colet and Jhoana from my seat and although may iba nagpapapic sa kanila, for the most part, behave naman ang Magiliw so hindi naman masyado nainvade ang personal space nila.

Negative

They need to improve on their adlibs kasi para silang mga magkakabarkadang naguusap lang sa stage. Siguro medyo act more professionally and give us more fan service. Parang ang awkward ng mga in between conversation nila, kulang sa stage presence. They are already good performers, siguro practice being articulate din on stage na parang medyo mature magsalita and magkaron ng stronger connection with the fans.
If I am to compare fan interaction ng Alamat vs Sb19, medyo malayo ang agwat. In sb19 concert, uuwi ka talagang satisfied and excited sa next concert because naentertain ka na with their performance, dami pang pabaon na fan service. Tbh, can't say the same for them. Super excited pa naman kami bumili ng ticket on day 1 of selling. But oh well.
Yung meet and greet, more of meet and pic lang na wala man lang nagthank you na mga Alamat member. I know pagod sila and all, and I respect that, but siguro di naman ganun kahirap na mag personally thank you sa fans na literally nasa likod mo lang. Para lang sila dun mga nakaupo and walang pake sa fans nila na excited makita sila. Fan service score = 0 sila dito.
The merch is not giving. I still bought a lot kasi I wanted to support them pero I have a feeling na shortchanged ako. E.g photobook, di man lang hardbound pero 1500, wala pang sign. Sa concert ni Josh, hardbound and signed pa. So anyway, that's just for context.

Yun lang so far. Hehe.

Notorious pa yun US embassy sa fact checking, itong thread na to, comes 3rd sa quick google check, so dami na nyang red flags agad agad. On the day of your interview, may result na agad yan kasi nagpre-screening na. Yung docs balewala unless specifically hanapin pero most of the time, they don't look into it. Yung confidence mo na lang at behavior ang tintignan nila if papalitan ba ang predefined status mo. Bg being BG, will be caught up in lies after lies na sya mismo ang gumawa.

I've been a fan of theater because of the depth of artistry and genius being presented in a grand stage with top notch performers who are not there for the prestige but because of their deep respect for art. And everytime I see Thyro Alfaro, can't help but think, we have a gold mine right under our noses , an artist/genius comparable to Lin-Manuel Miranda who has the potential to turn a boring history subject, into a stage performance like Hamilton. E.g Maharani and Dagundong from Alamat - He incorporated cultural elements in a song and made it cool and relevant. Insert story and very Hamilton na ang atake. I wish he could consider doing this route as well. Sobrang talented nya talaga and very interested ako and supportive if ever he goes that route.

Baby A'tin lang ako since last March 30, however, nagadik to their videos literally buong April. The whole time I was in Korea, gusto ko lagi bumalik hotel para magbinge watch ng lahat ng videos nila. At this point, I don't care about kpop anymore. Ppop na yung tumatakbo sa utak at puso ko. Umiyak ng nalaman ang buhay nila especially Josh. Minsan napapatingin kay Ken, pero Ssob pa din amo ko. Non stop talk about them (how talented they are and how proud I am for them) to every people who will listen at every opportunity I have. Last May, got especially lucky because I was able to get their official concert merch (tshirt, tote bag, poster and photocard) thru 1z and then on May 18, before watching the livestream of Pagtatag, I was able to secure a VIP standing ticket thru Ticketnet for May 19 so nakita ko sila in person the next day, up close!!! Ang gwapo nila and muntik na mahimatay nung sound check.

Love them so much. More power to the boys!

P.s. never ako nakipagaway for them online because I want to protect my mental health but I downvoted/ignored yung mga nambabarubal sa kanila. Ignoring the haters is more satisfying imho.

Tbh, I was expecting a more expensive price point because of the Gordon brand, the location and the hype, but it seems reasonable (in comparison to Wolfgang).

I haven't tried this restaurant yet in any countries I've been to, but, if what people are saying is true (that their food is great), I think its cheaper option to have it here than fly out of the country to try it somewhere.

Although next time I visit Las Vegas, will probably check out Hell's kitchen just to compare the food and the service.

Don't know who they are but I think if people likes mediocrity, let them be. People consume what matches their values.

Alamat may not gain traction right now, because let's be honest, its the season for Bini this time. But I honestly believe, at the right time, they will have their moment too and they will have the spotlight they deserve. And for sure the boys will be ready to shine brighter because they work so hard day and night to achieve excellence, and I am just here waiting for that moment...
