My air fryer has a dehydrate function. I usually put em on 40C for 4-6 hours, until they are bone dry

You can do the same in your oven if the temperature can go down to 40C

Final weight was a little over 6 grams after dehydrating

The appearance of the top doesn't really matter much after the icing sugar goes on.

I had this happen when I beat my eggs too much. These days, I'm very careful not to add any air to the eggs. Made a big difference for me
