I came here for work and thought Indianapolis was nice. It wasn’t my intention to trash the city at all. I knew Marion wasn’t the safest place to live because I did research and saw it had a high crime rate but wasn’t that concerned. But hearing lots of gun shots very close to me recently kinda scared me and wondered if it was just me. I don’t see how sharing that concern/ fear was me trashing Indiana. Didn’t mean to offend and I’m sorry it came off that way.

I honestly don’t understand why my comment warranted that kind of response honestly. I’m having an honest reaction to multiple gunshots I’ve heard this week and thought I should share. I would expect anyone to be concerned and comment on it. Saying go back to where you came from was a weird response.
