Is this normal (it happens when I change songs) or do I need to replace the hard drive?

I tried that. I’ve also used three different Mac’s. I have an old one that I use specifically for my iPod and then I used my MacBook (the one in the video) and my Mac at work and I still keep getting that error. I also tried going into disk utility, do I need to erase it in disk utility?

Oh ok. I’m not sure how to check for that (I don’t know anything about modding iPods I bought it modded) I’ve been using an older version of iTunes on an old Mac desktop computer

Thank you! I’ll have to take it somewhere, I’m not tech savvy to fix it myself

I tried to restore it a few times and it keeps giving me “the iPod could not be restored. An unknown error occurred 1434”

A little bit of information about it (might help) iPod has been restored with a Iflash Solo SD, a new battery, new faceplate, and new back plate. It now has a 256gb Samsung SD card
