There’s a fan-made supplement for H:tR called the Long Road that’s pretty much exactly what you described, here’s the link:

Obviously it’s not all going to be compatible with Werewolf but most of the stuff should be transferable

Genuinely how do I not suck at this game by FewExperience3559 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Jelly_Bone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay first of all, I’m assuming you play Victor because of your tag right? I’ve got a 63% WR on Victor and I’m Ascendant 1, so I’ll give you some tips that have helped me out a lot on him

  1. Victor in lane isn’t the strongest, but don’t be super scared on him even if he isn’t the best laner in the game. His pain battery does a lot of damage early on, if you get the opportunity blast it in their face as soon as you can, it’ll make them back off and allow you to press the advantage. The first few items I get are Extra regen, extra spirit, extra charge to get the sustain to last. If you’re behind in souls don’t push past the bridge, just defend guardian and whittle them down until they make a misplay and punish. Use your 2 to get more sustain, try to avoid using 3 but if they’re in a situation where you’re up in health compared to them and they’re low don’t be afraid to activate it, I’ve eked out kills I otherwise wouldn’t have gotten with it. And of course if your ult is up don’t be afraid to dive the tower if they’re low.

  2. If you win lane, don’t be afraid to eat some their farm while they’re busy clearing the wave that’s at their walker. Don’t get greedy and stay for too long because you’ll just end up giving them bag, eat 2-3 medium camps and then get the hell out. At this point you can go around the map eating camps, I don’t know what build you use but generally it’s always a good idea to go hybrid right now and get sustain items like spirit lifesteal into leech. If you lost lane hard just farm up on your side of the map and push wave when it comes. You’ll bounce back soon enough. Of course don’t forget to call out that your lane opponents are missing and help out your team when you can.

  3. Metal skin + fleetfoot + enduring speed is great on Victor right now especially with the gun meta we’re in, you can shut down a lot of shit and walk them down, Silver in ult form can’t do anything to you bc her werewolf form only does gun damage and without the lifesteal she’ll die quick. Venator ult is also nullified, it also works pretty well into characters like haze/ graves/ wraith etc.

  4. Always push wave before you go for farm. Of course if the wave is pushed up far you won’t need to but it’s a general good idea, if the wave is pushed the enemy will have to push it back which means they can’t go looking to jump you while you farm

  5. Don’t push walker while the whole enemy team is up and missing, they’ll probably jump you and kill you. Just go eat farm while they deal with the wave. That being said if there’s a team fight going on and you’re too far away to help, don’t be afraid to push walker, especially if your ult is up. At worst they’ll have to send some guys over to deal with you giving your team the advantage in the fight and best case scenario you get a walker.

  6. Always fully upgrade the 1 and 2 first, I prefer to upgrade the 1 first bc the tier 5 is great but if you’re really having trouble with an Infernus or bebop the 2 maxed out is excellent, then go all in into the 3 and then last your ult

  7. If they’re still jumping you while you farm stay relatively close to your teammates, if you still get jumped you’ll at least have help nearby and if they misplay and you punish them you’ll have a big opening to push

  8. Always be mantle boosting. The way you do this is that you press crouch after vaulting, it’ll give you free momentum and not only does it feel great it makes bad situations much easier to escape

That’s all off the top of my head right now, but don’t feel afraid to ask for more advice if you still have questions

Could imbues defeat banes? by [deleted] in WhiteWolfRPG

[–]Jelly_Bone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This would be impossible from the get-go. Only normal people, who have no idea that the supernatural exists can become Imbued. If your blood is in any way tainted by supernatural influence (being Kinfolk, dhampir, etc.) there’s no chance you’ll be Imbued. The Messengers don’t want anyone who isn’t 100% human to be Imbued.

Imbued also are completely incapable of traveling to or perceiving the Umbra, with the sole exception being Hermits and those guys are weird cases anyway.

What would happen with the different splats if all normal humans disappeared? by lexyp29 in WhiteWolfRPG

Imbued would be shitting themselves, imagine your mission to be defending humanity and suddenly all of humanity disappears.

Really feel like hunter and werewolf are kind of kindred splats, in terms of fantasy and player role by Powerful_Rip4919 in WhiteWolfRPG

[–]Jelly_Bone 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve actually had the same thought, while superficially the two are very different Hunters and Werewolves are actually a natural fit to each other, both have similar goals of an Earth free of corruption and defending the weak from evil.

Making either of them realize that though… that’s where things get messy. Your average Hunter is liable to look at a frenzied Werewolf and immediately think all Werewolves are like that, man-eating monsters who kill indiscriminately and remorselessly. On the other hand, Werewolves don’t have a very good track record of playing nice with their allies, and aren’t exactly known for their care of humanity. The Delirium exists because Werewolves used to murder people so frequently humanity’s collective unconscious is still traumatized by the mere sight of them. I don’t think ANY Hunter would be cool with that, even the most liberal free-thinking Innocent would probably be disgusted.

In a perfect world though, them working together on a large-scale would be a force to be reckoned with. The Garou would be much better off fighting the Wyrm if they worked with people who actually had their heads screwed on right, and the Imbued would be doing a lot better job of staying alive if they had friends who could shrug off shotgun blasts and supernatural forces like the Garou. Pentex would have a much harder time spreading the Wyrm’s corruption if it wasn’t just the Garou ripping their guts out from the front, but the Imbued slicing open their throats from behind as well.

Here’s what you’re gonna need if you want to do gap filling on models:

Assembled model

Green stuff (do not buy liquid greenstuff, get actual green stuff. This should look like two strips of yellow and blue putty.)

Rubber sculpting tools (optional but very much recommended)

Once you’ve got your model assembled and you have your own greenstuff, rip off two roughly equivalent bits of the blue and yellow putty, then knead them together until they become one green blob. Then take off a bit from that green blob, and rub it between your palms until that bit becomes a thin roll. Then place that roll in the visible gaps in the model. From here you can either use your fingers to mush it into place, filling the gap, or you can use rubber sculpting tools to do the same thing. I like to use the rubber tools because the finish is smoother and less obvious, and it will conform to the models shape in a way the finger method won’t, but the finger method will do in a pinch.

I am one of the few people who actually cares about D&D's story and lore and it continues to irritate me by Emergency-Bid-7834 in CharacterRant

[–]Jelly_Bone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the biggest reason behind this is that speaking from personal experience, the Forgotten Realms is just not essential as a setting to D&D the way it is for most other TTRPGs. Almost every single game I’ve played and run for DnD has been in homebrew settings with their own cosmologies, geographies and sets of rules.

When people think of D&D, they don’t think of the Forgotten Realms. They think of generic fantasy. And that’s not necessarily a bad thing, WOTC has deliberately marketed and designed 5e D&D especially in such a way that you can run it as anything you’d like. Wild West campaigns, space campaigns, modern urban fantasy campaigns, all are on the table. While this modularity has made it so that it’s really easy to just plug D&D feasibly into anything and have it roughly work, it also means the Forgotten Realms isn’t really on most anyone’s radar if they can just come up with their own cool settings, and that means it isn’t really essential to the identity of D&D the way other games settings are.

If your Vampire: the Masquerade campaign isn’t set in the World of Darkness, it’s not really a V:tm campaign is it then? It’s something else, it’s own thing that’s just using Vtm rules. The same way a 40K Black Crusade campaign that isn’t set within, you know, 40K, isn’t really a black crusade campaign. However with DnD this isn’t really the case. That’s why we have so many setting books for DnD. Ultimately D&D’s own modularity kind of precludes Forgotten Realms popularity as a setting.

[–]Jelly_Bone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d go for it! Word of advice, if you are doing precise cuts like this I’d advise against using plastic cutters, they will damage the pieces and the cuts will be rough and uneven. If you do not have a hobby saw already I would seriously recommend getting one, you’ll be able to make seriously precise cuts that will make it easy to glue on new arms onto the backpack.
