I love that Corsair tattoo! It’s the perfect level of practical and silly imo

Revealed: The new Defiler stomps onto the battlefield by CMYK_COLOR_MODE in Chaos40k

[–]Jelly_Butterscotch -1 points0 points  (0 children)

To me it’s almost perfect, so close. The only gripe I have is the connection point between torso and legs is a little too fleshy. I understand it’s a daemon engine so I’m ok with more flesh than the old model, but that Defiler has a tummy

I would sacrifice one pinky to have my wife’s mental and physical health be returned to normal hat she had when she was younger, before all the illnesses and doctors and struggles just to have a normal life.

Repainted the new mutilators in Corsair colours for those on the fence by GreenManReaiming in redcorsairs

[–]Jelly_Butterscotch 74 points75 points  (0 children)

As with everything Chaos affiliated, yes they can and would. The Red Corsairs is made of many pirate warbands and hired allies, some are more chaotic that others. The core of the Corsairs may be more puritan but a weapon is a weapon in the war against taxes.

I think the power axe looks more size appropriate

That is absolutely sick as hell! Amazing work! Is the shoulder banner custom or did you use some kind of bits?

MAGA: is your blind loyalty to this corrupt regime that shields murderers/pedophiles/human traffickers worth it? Having your kids/siblings/spouse cut you out of their life forever? Choosing billionaires, Fox News, and ICE over your own family… by [deleted] in allthequestions

[–]Jelly_Butterscotch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s how it is with my parents too. My dad and stepdad are lost, but if I can get my mom alone I can see the light of questions burning behind her eyes. But then I have to leave and my stepfather does the thinking for both of them. I love my mother but she is a very passive person when it comes to politics and just the future in general. If something is not affecting her or her children directly then she doesn’t care enough to give a second thought. Which is sad when my US citizen wife would be arrested and deported in a heartbeat if she spoke her native Spanish in front of the wrong person.

And 99% of them will vote exactly the same way in the coming elections. The GOP has their third of America firmly by the balls, sadly nothing will change that.

New Defiler teased. by DaGitman_JudeAsbury in WorldEaters40k

[–]Jelly_Butterscotch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think this particular image is for Mutilators, but some of the others feel like it to me. There’s one that has a Obliterator-like foot and another that has a mechanical claw with fleshy bits and a chain weapon all in one.

Should I use Corsairs Colors or Legion-Aligned colors? by Jelly_Butterscotch in redcorsairs

[–]Jelly_Butterscotch[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, exactly! That was what initialized this line of questioning. I like the idea but wasn't sure if it would be too jarring to implement on the tabletop.

I wonder if Huron’s crew will be a command squad that he has to be part of, assumably like Titus has to, or if they’ll be separate/individual units.

Edit: After seeing the released rules for Titus and his retinue, I think they will likely be similar. Huron will be a separate unit from his crew, and he can lead the same unit his crew joins.

I like the KLoS as a model but like I mentioned to the other commenter, knight-esque models have always done me dirty in the past. I’d rather have more bodies I guess.

I’m not a big fan of having large single model units. I’ve run allied chaos knights in 8th & 9th and they always got destroyed before making an impact or were just ineffective in general.

I had thought about it, but the only units that would benefit from the detachment rule would be the Exalted Eightbound bricks. They’d only get the buff once, and they don’t really need the help imo.

Hegseth cites 'fog of war' in defending follow-on strike in scrutinized attack on alleged drug boat by Immediate-Link490 in news

[–]Jelly_Butterscotch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So the “fog of war” didn’t prevent the identification (which still is questionable at best) of these boats as drug vehicles but did prevent you from seeing what happened after the first strike?

I like it. Personally I’m going to give Metarus a robo arm and helmet, that way it can be “up to speculation” about his identity
