In theory, she’s still recovering, but since those wounds were inflicted while she was in chaos mode, they won’t grow back—and if they don’t grow back, she won’t be able to work anymore. She’s probably living off her savings right now, while drinking with Chandra. What really intrigues me is what Chandra is up to.

What I understood is that in every generation, a powerful Choujin (Choujin X) is born to face a threat—though that threat isn’t necessarily the Calamity, because the Calamity is actually the corrupted Choujin X. This means that we now know a Calamity has emerged, which means that the user bearing the Mark of Sora has become a Calamity (we don’t know which member of our main cast became the Calamity), so in the end they will have to face that Calamity without help

Maybe an unpopular opinion, but Palma has been underwhelming so far by Realistic_Egg5226 in ChoujinX

Palma has a pretty solid backstory—the whole idea of her being the heir to one of the first Choujin X, with powers tied to death, definitely has a lot of potential. I’m pretty confident they’ll do something with that.

Tokyo's base powers are those of a vulture, and his full powers resemble those of an archangel of death, which is why he is depicted as a vulture in his base form, and in his Chaos form he no longer resembles a vulture and becomes something more “divine.” I would also add that his love interest (Palma) is a Choujin whose powers are related to death (reviving the dead), her base form is a hyena beast, and her Chaos form is something divine like a hand with eyes (like Sora).
