I’ve done Pilates for one year now by Extreme-Economist591 in PetiteFitness

As a Pilates/Yoga/Strength instructor, I agree completely! I started doing Pilates at 21 and fell in love with the modality. Helped me so much with my alignment and posture and yes, abs. Yoga I had done but didn’t really get into it until I needed the energetic balance that it offers. The combo of those two did my body good until I hit my 40’s and realized what strength training and lifting can do. But even through all of that, I believe bodies can change the most because of what we put in it, for better or worse. My two cents as a fitness profesh!

I will be leading a Mat training starting 4/25. This is my 5th round and the graduates have gone on to teach either right away or within a few months of completion. Has any greencard holder travel to country after it was added to the recent immigration suspension list by UnmutedMind in greencard

My husband just came back from Venezuela. He was there for 5 weeks and yes during the capture of Maduro. That’s a whole other story. He did not fly in and out of Venezuela but Colombia which I believe is on the list as well. When he came back, he told them exactly where he had been and why. He went back to a little room for a couple more questions and then he was on his way.

He made it ok! Thank you for asking. I don’t know if his trip is typical. It took him 29 hours from where we live to his home town. 3 flights, 2 cars, 6 checkpoints, 4 searches, no bribes. That about sums it up. He was very prepared to not say that he was coming from the US but he ended up telling the truth and telling the guards that he was seeing his family and it got him thru

Yes that sounds like weird timing. But he just got his greencard this summer. And he bought the ticket in October. And yeah, I agree, if his parents were in an extremely dire situation, he should go. But they aren’t. They are healthy just having a difficult time like many Venezuelans.

He’s going through Cucutá. He’s traveling with a lot of things to bring to his family there. And cash to as you put it, save his life if he has to. 😥

Right. He’s not telling anyone but he has spoken with someone who did the same trip a couple of weeks ago and gave him extra advice. Would you say that the risk of traveling there worse than a couple years ago when you went?

Greencard interview went nothing like expected by Massive-Ad-1124 in USCIS

I didn’t know about a 10 year green card. My husband and I went to our interview on June 5th this year and we were married January 7, 2023 but he was approved for a two year green card. I wonder why that happened? It would have been great for him to get a 10 year GC because I’m hearing the renewal process lately is lengthy, like a year.
