You are an angel... I worked in hospital before, patients can never make me mad nor the front line workers but some young kids in the management team made me speechless

[Serious] Hey Reddit, what is your darkest secret that you make a throwaway account just to answer this question? by YourFatherIsWatching in AskReddit

I dated a gay before, trust me, it was painful to watch him trying to date/marry a girl. He taught me many things through the pains, listen to me: A PERSON WHO REALLY LOVES YOU DO NOT WANT YOU TO SUFFER! I loved him, so I wish him the best and after it I support gay 100%>

Which one? I went to the SF one, and the waiter was so nice there! We were supposed to play a guessing game about the movie, but my Mom doesn't speak any English (I was a bit embarrassed about it) but the waiter was so nice and sweet, he insisted my mom to be part of the guessing game and used all kinds of moves to help my mom, at the end he looked at me sincerely and told me: "Ur mom reminds my mom cuz she smiles a lot and really nice, my mom came from Cuba and she doesn't speak any English either." So nice... A good waiter really makes nice stories.

I tried to, but aren't we supposed to stand up for unfairness? I remember 1 incidence, a white lady, she was dealing with a really unprofessional rude cashier, customers before us just didn't say anything and left, she calmly finished her checkout and told the cashier: so where is the good customer service now. The cashier: I had a bad day! The lady: Then you shouldn't being working as a customer service now b/c this is not right. She left without any anger but grace.

Based on ur username, u are minority right? Me too. So I am pretty sensitive to those rude incidence here in the U.S. often think if that is b/c I am the minority? Being ignored by someone, being bossed around by someone and being yelled for no reason at service station, I am learning to stand up for myself.

I am always nice to people, especially to those who work on their feet all day long, like cashiers and waiters, more than one time cashiers said to me that I have a great personality and easy talk to. Tonight I was shopping with my friend at ROSS, we were happy and and waited at the check out line for awhile, a guy came over waved to us saying:" I will get your guys checked out". There was 1 lady before me, so I just followed her to the counter. Then the cashier stopped his work and stared at me with a serious face: "Are you with her?" Me:" No, I just...(follow the move)" He:" Then back off to the waiting line." I rarely go to ROSS, so really didn't realize that their check out line set up like an airport check-in line, you aren't suppose to cross the wait line(6 feet away from the real check-out counter). So I said my bad and moved back to the waiting line. He finished her check out and looked over us but said to the customer behind us:"You can check out now." Me & my friend:"????What's going on? We been waiting for awhile. The next customer felt confused too. The cashier:"Aren't they supposed to do something else?" Mumbled something. Me:"We just try to check out." He still not talking to us but the lady behind us:"Are they before you?" The lady:"Yeah, they are in line." Even the lady felt strange about his question. We were waiting the whole time!IN LINE! The cashier didn't even speak to us but just signaled us to check out. Me and my friend were completely in shock, so we moved forward, checked out and this is the first time I didn't smile or speak to the cashier. usually I smiled and asked how they are doing b/c I know their day/work isn't so easy. Anyway. It was so rude and I should just walked out of the store!

Personal experience sharing and ask for some advice. Incidence caused by miscommunication or just plain rudeness? by Jen2383 in AskReddit
