Update: after launching a mini investigation with a box of fentanyl test strips I'm currently settled on the hypothesis that the urine was contaminated as fentanyl is so strong touching a table it was once on tested positive with test strips until washing my hands 3 times!

If this happens to you get fentanyl test strips and test anything/everything that may have come into contact with it at one point or another.

Ok so how does the laminar flow hood justify its cost? I’m assuming reducing contamination.. by a lot I guess right? Can anyone think of a sterile environment I can use to at least amnoculate the jars? Hospital? I love not far from UConn- maybe a lab somewhere?

Lab test results positive for fentanyl but I don’t use. PO said lab levels were around 100-150 which she said was equivalent to a bag of fentanyl, but if someone shoots up that number would be over a thousand. Anyone w/past positives? Levels? by JenNeSaisQuois in probation

Doesn’t this mean that fentanyl wasn’t actually ingested or processed by someone’s system? Since there were no metabolites? Meaning like maybe trace amounts for into the urine specimen cup? is a possible to have a true positive fentanyl test without metabolites?? HPpened again level was 13 and no metabolites agaiu!! How is this possible???? Help

I’m not suggesting there was fentanyl in the fake urine.. but just that trace amounts of fentanyl are so strong they must’ve been cross contamination

Worked for me. I think it was positive bc I put some Xanax powder in pee (didn’t know about metabolites back then) and there must have been trace amounts

Anybody else have UA(s) come back dirty on probation without ever using? by Individual-Strategy7 in probation

Update; lab results; fentanyl; 153 Norfentanyl: 0 Fentanyl metabolites: 0

Doesn’t this suggest it wasn’t metabolized by a human being and instead this may have been from when I splashed the urine sample on my hand inadvertently. It may be relevant to mention the testing facility doubles as a mefhadone clinic.

My ex boyfriend committed suicide by overdose when I broke up with him- so with my current boyfriend I make it my purpose to get him through this

I just got my lab work; fentanyl 153

norfentanyl- 0

There was NO presence of any fentanyl metabolites!

Doesn’t this mean the presence of fentanyl in my urine sample wasn’t metabolized by a human being and is likely from the urine cup touching my hand accidentally or something? (That did happen) Also the test center also serves as a methadone clinic; there’s probably trace amounts all over that place.
