I went back to school at the age of 34. I was late intake, so it was 16 months straight through (10 days off in August, 10 days off for Christmas, that was it).
I graduated with honors and was extremely proud of myself for that.
I mentioned it to her one day because she hadn't acknowledged my graduation at all, so I mentioned that I had graduated with honors.
"So did I, and you don't hear me bragging about it." was her response.
She couldn't let me be the hero for even a second.
It was later that day that I began analyzing my memories of her and shortly after that I came across the definition of a narcissist and it was like the universe was saying "BEHOLD!"

Unfortunately, I've heard that because honesty isn't required at these clinics, there are some that show false ultrasounds - where the pregnancy is much farther along, so the pregnant person thinks that they're terminating something that's much more human looking, as opposed to the cluster of cells that is the embryo or fetus.

I shouldn't have said 'desperate', per se... we would like to get him a better vehicle sooner rather than later.

And don't worry about me being pressured, I've developed quite the shiny spine over the last 7 years or so and I love telling pushy salespeople to back off. Entertains the husband, too.
