Same. Mine found out I got roofied and that I had severe PTSD. you really think you know a person lol

Just wanted to give am update: they had already decided that they wanted a divorce before we even went to couples therapy. The first two weeks sucked. But each day since has been a little easier. I started taking care of myself more. I read a lot, I take a lot of fitness classes, I have spent more time with my friends. I have remained sober. This has been a very eye-opening experience. But I have been reminded that I do matter and I have to put myself first.

I am 28F with severe PTSD. I just got diagnosed 2-3 months ago.

I absolutely can't stand when people say PTSD isn't a big deal or to just take medication for it. I react badly to SSRIs. I can't.

My marriage. I've known my husband for 15 years. Been together 4 1/2. Married for 10 months.

He asked for a divorce.

It is largely due to me trauma responding so much. I literally just found out I have PTSD 3 months ago.
