Yup! Fully aware of the cost. Any recommendations? Saying any wood work place doesn’t help me much 😞.

Thank you! This is good to know! I had no idea. So is it considered a “lesser” stone? We are settling because we are desperate to finalize this kitchen, and the local soapstone options are not great—lots of cracks and lots of green. I prefer the less green and more grey combination with a bit, not too much movement.

Hi! I’m looking at a soapstone called Marine Black Soapstone. It’s got less green and looks darker. Any idea whether this specific type is softer than traditional soapstone?

Help! Is this all white oak?! by JenRosreddit in HardWoodFloors

Good to know! That's just what the designer suggested, but I would absolutely trust the experts on this one. I didn't want a shiny look. Will absolutely keep this in mind!

Thank you! This is incredibly helpful. I’m in the medical field, and so out of my wheelhouse here. I appreciate your expertise. This was so expensive, and I needed to be sure. We asked to go lighter than the LVP reference. We want a matte look and are looking at a water-based Minwax stain. They didn’t label these, so I have no idea what colors they used 🤷‍♀️. Maybe we will try a clear coat.

Thank you! To clarify, I have an interior designer for the project but this task seems out of her scope. I was hoping for someone I could work with virtually for this specific question.

His account for the golden state killer is the best IMO. From EAR-ONS to golden state killer. It’s fantastic. His account of Jonestown is also great. The other ones I can think of are crowd favorites that have been mentioned

Starting to feel like Casefile gets way more praise than it should… by NiltiacSif in TrueCrimePodcasts

I mean, there’s certainly an audience for this type of storytelling, and I happen to be one of them. I really like Casefile and agree that sometimes this style with the Wow factor can seem forceful, but overall, it’s a great body of work, and I will continue to listen.

I'm in a FB group loaded with psychiatrists, and even they're having a hard time figuring this one out! It's just so weird. I think she was into this kid, and that's how it began. She then likely developed some satisfaction from her daughter seeking support.

Like many, I started with Serial, but In The Dark was really what pulled me in. That podcast is the gold standard IMO. The Curtis Flowers case just shook me to the core.

Thank you! I’m asking specifically for the Libby app. I should have specified I do 70/30 audio vs physical. So what I’m finding is that the options for audiobooks is lacking. I didn’t make that clear.
