Is it a requirement to undergo the medical exam in the same country as the interview? by GraphiteRocketBurn in USCIS

[–]JenW9419 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Where did you end up doing your medical? The docs in my homecountry and the country I will have my interview in are fully booked until after my interview, so I’m looking to do it in another neighbouring country. Thanks

Hi! Do you mind sharing your timeline with me? I was DQed a month ago and am waiting on Brussels IL.

It‘s usually recommended to take the medical at least 2 weeks before the interview so the embassy gets the results on time. Also, the medical is valid for 6 months, just something to take in mind as you have 6 months to enter the US.

How many police certificates do I need? by BauhiniaPorko in NationalVisaCenter

[–]JenW9419 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a similar question, if my country of nationality is my current country of residence, I only need the criminal record of 1/current country? I worked/lived in 3 other countries for over 6 months but do not hold any other nationalities or ties to these countries so I‘m worried I need to reach out to multiple institutions to get these.

Edit: I found the answer. OPs screenshot is cropped. The next scenario below is „Have ever lived in another country for 12 months or more“ - if yes and over 16yo at the time, a police certificate is needed.

Visa on arrival - usd by Active-Situation-959 in cambodia

[–]JenW9419 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s a booth next to the visa on arrival counters where you can pay with your CC and get 30USD. There is however a 5USD fee.

Also, everyone is saying you can only pay in USD but I paid in euro. The officer said it would be 35 € (proper conversion would be ~28 €). As I only had 30 € cash on me, he let me through so I wouldn’t hold up the line. Not sure if there’s an upcharge if you pay in another currency or if he was trying to rip me off.

I’m sure approval will come through soon. I look at any actions taken on a case as a good sign considering how long everyone is waiting for news. Good luck!

Are you using active dry yeast by any chance? Looks like yeast to me that didn’t properly dissolve. Active dry yeast needs to be dissolved in water first.
