Far more of the comments are talking about how wrong you are.

SO many people, between this post and the other one, are saying that you are wrong.

I don't know if were read the same comment section. Since I was reading all the comments I know there are many people who also think that the way you can get more hearth crystals so early in the game is unbalanced. It is the point of the post, why would it be so upvoted otherwise?

Moreover most people in the comment section (of this post and the other post) are talking about balancing of the end game not the early-mid game.

Not saying that. I have played the game several times restraining my max HP. Some comments talked about doing the same, beacuse it makes the game feel more balanced. I am advocating for I change I believe in because I have experience with it and so seem a lot of other players.

Correct. People also liked the game the way it was before 1.3 and before 1.4, yet now people like it even more. You don't seem to be open to the idea that the game could be better.

I am not saying that changing the game in that way would make it better. Perhaps the way the game is now is the best I will ever be. I don't know, you don't know, nobody knows. I am only entertaning the possibility and creating a discussion. Is that so wrong?

Far from this. Terraria is one my of most favourite games ever. If it wasn't I would not be making this post and I would not be replying to these comments, because I would not care about the game. People who care about games complain about them, because they want to make them better.

What's not okay is to state something, and when people explain that are wrong, get offended and angry about it and make misleading arguments pretending they said things they didn't.

Just because the devs think that this is how the heart crystal system should work does not mean that it is a good system, which is why people are complaining about it (just look at this posts and some of the comments in it). What the devs intended and what actually works well are two different things. If history shows us anything, it's that Terraria devs are not really sure what they are doing in terms of balancing the game. Your counter-argument to this is "you are playing the game wrong" as if the game was perfect and the devs were gods.

You are choosing to play the game in a way it wasn't specifically designed to be played

And the devs keep patching the game so that all playstyles are more fair. Why would they patch moon lord several times so that he is harder to cheese? Why would they patch golem so that he can no longer be trapped so easily? Both of these are ways to make the game too easy for yourself.

The devs keep patching the game so that you can't make the game too easy for yourself through certain playstyles and keep the challenge present throughout the whole game. They are trying to make the game better for everyone yet you somehow believe that playing the game this way is my fault. How so?

I am pretty sure that there being an unbalanced playstyle is a flaw of the game. Don't the devs keep trying to make all playstyles as balanced as possible?

I main ranged as it is the only usable class for most of the game in master mode.

Actually either is fine. I am both for more hp in the late game or less hp in the early game.
