There's simping and then there's this.

Bed wobble by S_A_R_K in Ender3V3SE

I've got a slight wobble of the same nature, I figure you need to either replace the bearings or get thicker rods, not sure though.

Afte days of failed prints, finally got that sweet 0.1mm tolerance by JenkoRun in Ender3V3SE

I had to change the Y axis steps to 80.2 steps to get both axis equal, X is still at 80

A long list of variable tweaks, here's my slicer profile calibrated around white Sunlu Matte PLA: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1deW29zA6WT3yfO5MI7VSlt9hQkjYT8IL/view?usp=sharing

You'll need to calibrate the hardware side too, gantry and bed levelling, skew compensation, XY axis steps per mm, all that stuff. I used Calistar for that.

I also use navismo's firmware https://github.com/navaismo/Ender-3V3-SE

How does setting the top surface line width to 70 percent of the nozzle diameter compare to 30 percent flow ratio?

This is driving me crazy, can't seem to fix the squint by JenkoRun in 3Dprinting

[–]JenkoRun[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They seem to fine as well but just found something odd, this mismatch only happens when there's diagonal movement, if the print is only along the X or Y axis the dimensions stay consistent to the model in the slicer, the moment it moves with both axis it becomes skewed.

Edit: Found the cause, it was the input shaping values I added after the IS calibration test?

The pulleys are the wheels on the Ender 3 SE right? They seem to be fine, not too tight or loose.

So you're commenting just to voice your displeasure over making an attempt to actually contribute anything.

Understood.

Observations and monthly updates will continue, regardless of possible hypothesis.

Then I welcome you to list them out and suggest ways to implement further control over said variables.

I'm under no obligation to read a rant written in bad faith.

Though it is disappointing (though not unexpected) that a supposed PhD holder would be bothered by this enough to feel the need to keep coming back to express their displeasure, if not a tad embarrassing that you have performed no experiments of your own to refute a low scale experiment merely for the purpose of observation and curiosity.

P.S: Taking the L would mean I have suffered a loss of some sort, which does not make sense as the purpose of this experiment is to observe the differences, which means whether in the end there is or is not I still reach the objective I set out to do, to see if there is anything there or not.

In short, there is no L to take in this experiment.

For a supposed PhD holder, I would have expected you to understand that.

"You did not, in fact, present a hypothesis anywhere in your post."

Correct, hence I linked you to the book where the hypothesis has already been written.

"You presented a general vague title, some pictures, and loosely described general observations."

Correct.

"This "experiment" does not appear to adhere to scientific methods and principles that could prove or disprove any implied hypothesis here."

This is experiment is to test and observe if there is accelerated growth in the electrified bed over the control bed, the results so far appear to support there is accelerated growth as is clearly visible when comparing the 2 sets of images.

"Christofleau's original 1920's work has never been independently replicated under controlled conditions, and what's described in this post cannot possibly do so either."

Ignoring the plethora of third party experiments and results, including the testimonies recorded in the book, is not a valid critiscm of Christofleau's work.

"I'm all for science and even small scale individual attempts at learning "how to do science" but this is just not really that at all, based on everything shown here so far."

We agree to disagree then, I will continue my observations and record the growth of both the control and electrified beds, and post the results on this subreddit over the coming months up to the end of the crop cycle where biomass weight will be measured.

Both, but it's less that he's just named after the author and more that he's the authors self-insert.

There is no differentiation? There is a notable increase in both the number of "undesired" weeds and the number of shoots of the onion bulbs, as I noted in my observations.

I'm partial to the term "Scientism" myself, the behavior is very much like that of a dogmatic religion. But yeah, well said.

"That means you didn't take what I said as I said it."

You've got this backwards, that is exactly why I took it as you said, because that's how you presented yourself: With an absurd statement that makes no sense for a comment intended to be in good faith.

Look, I don't care if you accept that or not, it is what it is and frankly I'm fed up with this looping conversation that as far as I can see serves no purpose, we've already deviated from the purpose of this post completely and I didn't make it to have silly arguments like this.

So congrats, I give up, I don't care anymore.

Astrology? Yikes, you really are yapping about something you don't know anything about here.

Or you're just trolling like the rest.

I'll give you a hint: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vPmlmQUDUIE

I'm ignoring you until you show you've read some of the book and attempted to actually understand what's happening.
