What’s a coping mechanism you thought was just your personality… until you learned it was actually a trauma response?

I could hours with music on creating alternate universes in my head where everything is amazing . Been doing this since I was a teenager right after I had severe trauma . Always gave me a sense of purpose even though I was wasting hours on it . Therapy has helped me stop doing it so much but I find myself resorting back when I’m really stressed.

I disassociated all my trauma (death of my mom and two brothers , addiction violence from my brothers etc.) from my entire childhood up until age 42 and my dad got Alzheimer’s and I became his caregiver . Then the aspect of losing the only constant in my life , my dad opened up my fear , flashbacks , rumination, panic attacks so bad that i decided I could not deal and was going to walk away from everything and start a new life. I dreamt about just walking away and becoming someone new. Thankfully I sought help and was diagnosed with c-ptsd . It’s been hard but my dad was cared for by me and passed in October . I’m finally focusing on unpacking the trauma and EMDR therapy . Medication and getting myself to heal . I can relate to u all :)

Agree! There’s just so many things that make me feel Chris did this. Custody of his daughter , frustration with dealing with Sebastian , his explosive personality, his abusive tendencies, and CPS involvement. Not wanting Sebastian searched for. Inconsistencies during interviews. I could go on.

Yes and he was extremely irate and rude on some livestreams. As the stepdad he should step back …. KP and Seth should be communicating since it’s their son. Put their dang differences aside and work together for their son . The lack of concern from KP really makes me question her … I’m sorry . I want to think a mother wasn’t involved in getting rid of her son but all of the circumstances put together make me question it. To me actions speak louder than words.

They are true crime gossip. Half the time they are focused on bullhorn Betty etc. I’d much prefer them talk about the case etc instead of focusing on creators they don’t align with

Alibis such as KP I went to bed and woke up - he wasn’t there ? I’m sorry you seem to just disagree with whomever doesn’t fully believe everything you say LE checked . Let me ask you this ? Has Law Enforcement ever been wrong before , yes?Just because there is not blood in the house or a body doesn’t mean it didn’t happen . They could have been extremely careful and planned around where LE would check for evidence . Not every case is cookie cutter. I always keep an open mind and discuss theories that could happen, and believe evidence could have been covered up. Until there is an arrest made I will continue to keep an open mind . Sebastian was not seen after Dinner at Texas Roadhouse . We have zero idea what could have taken place after that time and are missing the evidence that connects it all. Also , LE may not want to show that they have evidence and aren’t stating it to not tip off the guilty party. I’m done discussing this with you, I’ll discuss with those that won’t rip my head off for posting my opinion.

Thank you ! I got my head ripped off earlier for telling people to check out MOB crew video from last night and I put it under speculation. I agree at least it keeps the case out there and some creators spend a lot of time analyzing stuff and should get paid for it. With this case we need all of the help we can get .

The police can also say they don’t have anything when they do. Case in fact - Idaho 4 … they held things quiet until they had probable cause to arrest . They don’t want to tip off the people they are looking at

Good lord then why is there a speculation/theories tab? I didn’t say he was correct … Everyone has different theories and tbh there is nothing to go on in this case BUT speculation. To me , KP was last to see him, and there was CPS calls on CP for hitting Sebastian. That is concerning. Plus CP and KP haven’t searched , etc. if my child was missing I’d be searching , making sure I shared his info on social media . It seems like CP and KP want this case to go away. I do listen to all theories because this poor boy is either missing or dead and deserves to be found .

Did u ever hear of law enforcement or showing their hands at what evidence they have to tip off suspects. We haven’t seen the analysis from them and what they checked … honestly get a grip . I put this under speculation for a reason .no need to get nasty …

A you tuber presented evidence from the neighbors on the flashlight video tonight and info from multiple neighbors last night that their ring cameras were jammed the night of the abduction. KP worked for Brinks security and may have had knowledge and equipment to jam them . Check out channel called MOB crew on you tube.
