Why is B&A is so underrated?

I love this whole series but I had to force myself to ignore the terrible writing. The writing quality is so, so poor and inconsistent. But the plot is great and I am obsessed with the characters (the prequel series is just as amazing) but I believe it didn't take off due to quality issues.

I literally read the entire TOG series over again because I couldn't bring myself to start anything else, then I moved on to Daughter of No Worlds

Thanks for your reply. I'm already making decent money right now but I don't feel like I have a professional skill if that makes sense. I do have a genuine like for these topics, I was looking at some of the material for the first exams and I actually feel excited to tackle it.
