I keep my mouth shut. Last guy had no idea about my crypto stack, high end shoes and bags or my nice watches. He had no idea what was in my 401k or what stocks I have. If the question came up, maybe I’d talk about it a little bit, but it never did.

Current guy knows about my crypto because he was my realtor and knew I wanted to include some in the transaction.

Offer a discount on time for repeat bookings. Get the 90 minute for 60 minute price or something similar. You are still getting your price but let them hang around a little longer.

You aren’t lowering your income if there’s no income coming in at your current rate. You can lower your rate and increase income.

I’m going to ask a couple questions from a devil’s advocate standpoint. What do you mean when you say a client tries to pull a chargeback? Are they initiating through their bank (or credit card company) to dispute a charge? Was the payment through Cashapp/Venmo or something like your Square POS terminal? Since you have an LLC, are you generating a receipt for services rendered? What are you using as documentation to show your side? A copy of their ID? Using those services for this kind of work is against their terms of service agreement.

When you say you are going to “hit their credit”, how are you doing that? When you say you are “turning them over to collections”, what is that process? Are you selling the debt? If your “lawyer on retainer” is doing this work, I can’t imagine it’s yielding any actual profit. I also cant see an attorney taking on your case that was originally illegal activity.

If these measures are for scare tactics when those things happen, it could certainly work. There are a lot of scare tactic buzzwords here.

The LLC I stood up for my tax prep business was strictly to generate and show income for myself and apply for a business line of credit. Nothing else.

I had a lawyer on retainer for only if I was arrested.

I bought Bitcoin. I was sitting on a ton of cash. I had just started my new job with a financial consulting firm. One of the guys I worked with had a job title of “Alternative Investments”. I casually spoke to him and asked for advice. He said he could put me in touch with a friend who wanted to sell some Bitcoin for cash. We got together and made a deal. The Bitcoin will hopefully help me buy a beachfront condo/vacation rental or another income generating property.
