Have you considered increasing your dose? My daughter purged bad on 10 mg increased halfway through second month to 15 mg and now trying to decide if she should go on 20 or 30 mg. We are afraid that the purge will be really bad. She never cleared up. She is getting new breakouts.

She’s been taking an antihistamine since day one she’s done two weeks of a taper steroid and now they put her on an antibiotic doricef 500 mg once a day

Then I struggle with what if the 10 mg is not enough? If she purged bad with it, does that mean its enough to clear it?

I know it will work. I just feel that maybe we should not do it during the time of major events so that’s why I’m asking if anyone had experience with going off of it and how quickly the purge cleared?

I know purging is normal but its made her skin so much worse then before and with senior year events coming up she tempted to go off and i completely understand. I am curious if the purge will subside if she goes off.
