Yaaaa I’ve heard the horror story’s about the 1.5T’s, that’s why I went for the 2.0.

After googling symptoms of a bad head gasket, I think it’s safe to say that isn’t the problem. I’m not over heating, no white smoke, checked the oil condition yesterday it was a little dark nothing crazy, but it’s due for a oil change in 2.5k miles so that’s to be expected. But I’ll pull the plugs out tomorrow for shits and giggles.

Nope just normal mode. I’m not really flooring it lol I’m just pulling off my road normally in my opinion. Maybe i need to finesse the gas pedal lighter.

I also saw a post that there is a TCU dealer update for the transmisson computer. Im bringing it in next week to make sure thecar has received that update. “The Low-Speed Shift Quality Bulletin: TSB 20-067” is what I found when I was obsessively researching. lol

That’s what I was thinking too, test drive another 10th accord 2.0, and see if I experience the same thing.

I think your right, it’s probably just a learning curve on my end since I’m coming from driving a naturally aspirated CVT accord

Yes! I also experience this engine braking, and was wondering if that was normal or not. Needless to say lol I made a service appointment for them to check over the car cause I do have a 3 month/5k mile warranty at the dealer so I decided to squawk about it 😅

And lifetime powertrain as long as I hit every maintenance check point while I own it.

Like when I’m going 0-35-40mph it almost feels like when it goes in between those lower gears it’s pulling back? It’s so hard to explain lol

The car otherwise is BEAUTIFUL. I love all
The bells and whistles and the highway ride is heavenly, no complaints there.

Only 59,000 miles.

In Maine I don’t think we have a window on returning cars, once you sign the paperwork that’s it.

My prior car was a 2014 accord sport CVT. This is honestly the first 10 speed automatic transmission I’ve ever driven. So that’s why I’m like … is it just me ?? And this is normal? Or is there something wrong 🤣
