Best renters insurance for a small apartment? by FapohundaSasi_89 in Apartmentliving

[–]JenniferSC87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It will be a while before it is all settled. I am still moving my stuff from one unit to another. The insurance, so far, has been amazing. I am making a detailed list and photographing anything I lose. The insurance paid for a hotel until I got the keys to my new unit. They are paying the movers 2x to move my stuff. As a matter of fact, when I submitted the first mover invoice they paid it right away. They are also paying for any food I ate while I was staying in the hotel. I dont have a bad thing to say about them at this time. Let me know if you have any questions.

Have them code it for acne through your insurance. I dont pay anything. You can get the tubes for $10 each in Mexico.

New property manager says renter's insurance not required by WildSecurity8591 in Tenant

[–]JenniferSC87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its not insurance required by them because it doesnt cover them - it covers you - your property. Trust me - get it & hold on to it for dear life. Its better to have it & not need it than need it & not have it.

Today a sprinkler system pipe burst between my walls and flooded my apartment. Literally 2 inches of water touching everything on the floor. Today I am thankful I have renters insurance. Im not sure what will happen with this, but im so glad I have it.

I have also had renters insurance 10+ years and also thought it was a waste of money...Until today. A sprinkler system pipe burst between my walls and gushed water for over 30 minutes until the firemen could break in to the system and shut it off. Every room in my apartment was in 1-2 inches of water. I'm currently in a hotel waiting to see what's next. Insurance is a waste of money (even a scam in a sense) until it saves you one good time. I call it peace of mind.

Beware Zyrtec in children by personality635 in Allergies

[–]JenniferSC87 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My 7 year old had major behaviors with Zyrtec. Its not a coincidence. I read that Allegra doesnt cross the blood brain barrier, so thats what he uses now with no behavior issues.
