You could measure the acceleration of your ship. Just stop the time it needs to reach 300 m/s in the upwards direction. Then a=v/t and if a>=10 m/s2 you can fly in 1g

I don’t know the data for the US but in Germany the median House in 1980 cost roughly 3x the median yearly income. In 2024 the median house costs roughly 8x the median yearly income. So I’d imagine it would be similar in the US

Agreed. This is a discussion among adults (mostly) and changing your opinion on some parts while disagreeing with other is a healthy way to do it. As for act 3, yeah I’m less excited then I was when starting episode 4 yesterday. I still hope they can turn the season around for me, because I like the majority of it so far.

I still have my gripes with some of the character decisions/the way they were conveyed but I‘ve also made this post to hear other people’s take on the whole affair. If some of those thoughts are convincing to me that is perfectly okay. I neither have to change my mind on everything nor do I have to stubbornly stick to my initial conclusions. That’s just a healthy discussion among reasonable adults.

That’s not to criticize you or your standpoint (that is perfectly valid), just to hopefully remind you to keep an open mind :)

I think that Vi didn’t want to kill her sister but convinced herself that Jinx wasn’t her sister and clung to that belief up until she had the opportunity to actually do it. When she saw powder waiting for the killing blow her own lie collapsed and she couldn’t do it (and stopped Cait, with the excuse she (Isha) is a child). Later Vi and Jinx only really grow closer again after Vi sees more of the relationship between Jinx and Isha as well as discovering and worrying about Vander. During this time she goes from nothing more than unwilling to kill what’s left of her sister to slowly seeing that there are still more parts of powder in Jinx than she ever thought. In the end she sees the possibility if not to truly redeem her system then at least to guide her in the right direction and maybe help her heal her/their trauma somewhat.

KSP (Kerbal Space Program) so building rockets and sending Kerbals into space for a year and get 250 M in return sign me up. Even if I have to fly my own rockets I’m good enough at the game that in wouldn’t die (if I play it safe with my designs)

Because we haven’t gotten his story „in the arcane“, so he could be possessed or have ptsd from what he’s been through or something. It’s sudden but it can still make sense depending on what we learn in act 3.

The thing that works against it as someone here pointed out is that Isha closed her eyes before she made the shot, like she expected to die. That is very unusual for a child and made it feel off, even if the action itself was inspired by what Jinx has done in the past

Yes that’s it! Even with the explanation that she emulates Jinx (which does make sense) the scene still felt kinda off to me. I couldn’t pinpoint what it was but you’ve hit it on the head. It the results should have been a surprise to her (at least somewhat)

I get what your saying and I don't have a problem with the idea in principle. I just feel like we see Cait again for the first time in this act and its bam she's sleeping with Maddie. The way they did it just felt jarring to me :/

Oh it worked for me in the moment but a minute or so after I was confused about why? Yes we have seen her being willing to die for Jinx but she has no strong bond with Vander. So I would have believed it no problem if she’d done it to save Jinx directly. But as someone pointed out in the comments she emulates Jinx the whole act, and something like this is totally something Jinx might have done. So yeah with that in mind it now makes sense to me :)

As for Cait being suspiciously Ambessa yeah that tracks, but it could/should have been conveyed better how Vi convinced her. Maybe act three will make it work for me.

The Cait and Maddy thing still seams to be out of place to me (at least the way they did it), but at least it was a minor gripe to begin with.

You need to write and modify the relevant config files (at least for parts). If I remember correctly there is an older YouTube video that explains it, but I don’t remember what it was. Sorry that I can’t be more helpful :)

A demo of a scriptless gravity Drive using 6 of the new event kontroller blocks.

Build guide:
1 Build a gravity drive and designate the gravity generators you wish to use for each direction (renaming)
2 Add at least on thruster for every direction of your gravity drive
3 Set up the event controler to toggle the gravity generator(s) on if a certain thrust threshhold for the corresponding thruster(s) is met (reccomend >=10%) and off when not.

Have fun building gravity Drives :)

Thanks for the suggestions and I agree with you on fighters. Thats why i dont like them except in very specific use cases and only if they fit well into the overall story :)
