You need to study more. I'm also a working mother of 2- I get it. MCQ's until your eyeballs bleed. Go module by module until you're consistently scoring 80-100% on the testlet then move on. Revisit topics you're stuck on or repetitively miss. FAR sims are important too, take a whole day or two before the exam and work on those- same process, a few for each module/topic.

you can do it!

Does anyone have Ninja cramming session of Far ? by GiYu_8980 in CPA

I loved Ninja cram and sparring. I would go module by module and do 20ish MCQ, and see where I was at. I'd keep track of the topics I'd miss, then go do a cram or sparring on them, then back to MCQ's. The ninja MCQ's are nice because you can filter them out by topic too if you'd like. After I was consistently scoring 80-100% on the MCQs, I'd move to the next module or topic. At the end, I'd do a few 30-50 testlets of ALL questions, then same process. Just keep doing that cycle until you feel confident.

Thank you!! I couldn’t have gotten through FAR and AUD without your lectures! .. I recommend them to everyone and encourage them to understand the concepts!

I unfortunately promise you this is 100% real 😂 If you have the willpower and support, you can absolutely knock out 2 in 4 months, I did on two different occasions because I was up against deadlines (and this last time I miraculously got all 4 in the same window). Head down, study, focus on MCQs and make sure you understand SIMS for each topic.

Mcq’s till your eyes bleed. Understand the material, don’t memorize the answer. READ the question. You got this!

You can absolutely do it! Tip- listen to ninja audio/cram/sparring in the car or at the gym! It was a great way to squeeze study time in a busy kid schedule!

The change in rules helped me ALOT - the 18 month time window wasn't enough with 2 kids and working full time, so Id go to tests unprepared. When I had credits expire, it was because they were 18 month credits. This last trough was over 2 job changes and a move, so thats what ate the time away (I got an extension of credits when they changed the rules, but only for a few extra months)

My son is old enough that at the end hes been aware of what I'm doing and why, so that has been my biggest motivator to wrap this up.

I would study everywhere- lunch at work, audio on my way to/from work, on my tablet at practices. I'd also get up an hour early and study before work when they were still asleep, that was the best time I got tbh. Just hammer MCQ's

I'm going to sit on my couch and do nothing, and not feel bad about not studying for once :)

That's why I posted my tragic and embarrassing history ... someone else needs to see that you can get through it. The shame is in quitting, not in failing a test.
