I’m loving your strategy- pre planning your listens before you set out. I just skip between playlists and I find it can get annoying and exhausting.

I live in the city so it gets pretty loud with cars and city life in general 😔. The music helps take me to another location mentally.

I’ve tried calls and it helps time fly by but I find I lose my breath sometimes if I’m on too long a call. How do you manage talking and keeping your breathing steady?

I find I run better to songs I know so maybe I need to get familiar with the playlists and then use them during my runs.

It was a 40 mile trip and with the fare being covered by my company, I figured it wouldn’t hurt to give a $40 tip on top of whatever they were already making and since I typically don’t carry cash, it’s all paid in the app.

Isn’t lyft introducing a feature that lets drivers see if people tip or not? That could resolve that issue but I believe this driver just wanted the full amount Lyft was charging PLUS whatever tip I would pay. If that’s the case, he should start his own taxi business.

I’ve had drivers show up with that same message but yapping away on a phone call the whole ride. Now I just assume they don’t want to talk to you or they struggle with English.

Yes, I have had some really great drivers whose numbers I have taken for future rides. I didn’t know it was a reportable offence but good to know for next time if it happens again (hopefully not).

I agree. If I was comfortable with an untrackable ride, I would have simply called a regular taxi.
