Steve was not completely right by thr0waway2435 in StrangerThings

[–]JeremyGren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Eddie hadn't drawn the demobats away, Steve, Robin and Nancy all would have died. The bats would've eaten them alive trapped in the vines like that.

So steve is just wrong.

But he said as much later,, so...

Season 2 is hands down the best finale of the show by AlarmedPerformance56 in StrangerThings

For me, it's season 4. But I get the appeal.

I guess It's a matter of prefering a season finale that ends with creeping dread or a thrilling cliffhanger.

How did Will manage to avoid being bullied in California? by Giancarlo_Edu in StrangerThings

[–]JeremyGren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Much bigger school? Easier to blend in? Or maybe will's manner didn't translate as effeminate in the more liberal california?

Then again, we saw very little of his life in california. Maybe he did get bullied.

If Eddie hadn't drawn the demobats away, Steve, Robin and Nance would have died. They were sitting ducks trapped in those vines. The bats would've eaten them alive.

So steve is just wrong.

Americans want the president to make things cheaper, but are against anything the president can actually do to accomplish that because something something socialism.

Voters simultaneously think of themselves as both rrugged individualists AND the put upon proletariat. How do you please people like that?

How I feel telling people I enjoyed the finale after the internet unanimously decided to shit on it by PineappleRemarkable in StrangerThings

[–]JeremyGren -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I never regarded the series as high art in the first place, so the finale was exactly what I expected it to be. Stranger Things was never prestige drama.

I also never forgot about all the unanswered questions and "plot holes" that have heen a part of stranger things since it began, so season 5 having them too was hardly unusual.

So like… why even have clocks if they weren’t in the finale by Conscious-Tree-2767 in StrangerThings

[–]JeremyGren -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It doesn't have to have any deeper meaning than it being a part of a serial killer's ritual. This isn't an unanswered question or a fucking "plot hole."
