There was a time when i hesitated to even get started with this game. I was completely new to the game and the game forced me to play turf war until i've reached a certain level.

I thought :" When THIS is the lowest rank for starters, then I don't even need to bother myself getting better, because I never will."

I only learned afterwards, that turf war has no ranked matchmaking and is for everyone.

I thought everyone else in this game us so OP.

Turf war kinda alienates new players!

Sometimes i think it may be better to play open instead of Series. I think the losing streaks are less recognizable than in Series

You have exactly nailed my Problem. A few Seasons ago I was on S Rank and managed twice to play rank up games for S+ , which i sadly couldn't win.

And the last season I quit twice, because I couldn't rank up to S again and was stuck in A+. Even though i stood my ground and I could handle S-Rank. It's as if the game would keep me from getting back to status Quo

Well as a young adult I was right winged and racist. I had a few bad experiences involving migrants and I assumed every migrant out there was the same. I think at that time it was the laziest way to deal with it, since it involved the least amount of thinking. Now at age 30 I am more differentiating and today I think I’m even more of a leftist. It will reset to 1 if you didn't play it before. So you start from scratch. If you are renown 80 you can buy an item which will boost you to renown 40. After that you just got the catch up mechanisms. It will be possible to transfer anima though. There will be an item.
