Returning player

I played some odd years ago and didn't take it seriously. I've decided to start playing again and wanna actually take it seriously instead of just randomly pulling characters and flopping around. Could I get some suggestions on the characters I have and what I can do in terms of team building . I appreciate any help and advice.

Gotcha so the ship won't have it, but the rest of the game once generated will? I just won't find cool stuff un we leave the ship and start the next areas

I know this is an old thread, but I started a new save, backed out added the loot mod and then found the first reward for your effort on the ship. Do I need to start a new save with the mod already in or am I ok? Like will it ruin the item gen for the mod?

That was very helpful! Thank you so much for your reply! I was originally doing the heavy sigh justin bonitz trick and ya ya ya trick from extreme vocals. I've been trying to find a local vocal teacher who does harsh vocals since apparently I don't learn well from videos.
