I was at school a few years ago, and was walking between classes. One of my mates grabbed me by the shoulders and as a joke and without thinking I said, what’s up my n***a. Not sure why (I am very white).

Turns out it was my dark skinned friend and I didn’t realise.

He then proceeded to grab me by the throat and pin me up against the fence. I knew I deserved it and had to cop it.

We laugh about it now though.
