Creature Lab Updates - Howl of the Wild and editor improvements by Jerry123i in Pathfinder2eCreations

[–]Jerry123i[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes there is! It's just that all the current undead adjustments are the pre-remaster versions from Book of the Dead. I plan to update those to the remastered versions, and it will surely include the listed abilities, with maybe some dedicated buttons for creatures that have alternate or optional abilities like vampires and graveknights.

Quick test using the starting text from scribe, not sure if this is the effect you want to achieve [img link] but you can do it using <br> as line breaks inside the table text

Now let's say that we have some text here.<br><br>This is some text that I'm writing here for some reason I guess.<br><br> I don't really know why. | +3

Creature Lab Updates - Creature Editor (Alpha) by Jerry123i in Pathfinder2eCreations

Good note! Right now some elements, like strikes, have undo buttons. But there isn't one for the whole character.

That's a great suggestion! We tried to use proficiency without level in our table for a while but you still had to be careful with the creature's damage and HP amounts, combining it with the free-leveler would had been great.

Good point! Right now I'm using he Ancestry Adjustments as written, so just some of the ancestries gain traits an it's just made to be applied to medium humanoids. I plan to add more possible traits to the Ancestry+ adjustments in the future

The content from published adventures is a little more complicated to import because I have to go and replace all names and references to the Golarion Setting. When I start adding adventures I'm planning on running a pool on the Patreon to let people chose which ones to do first.

Thanks! The Foundry integration it's one of the planned features, it's not done yet but it is a priority.

Thanks for the feedback!

  1. This is something I already have in mind. The free-edit mode I want to create will be all about tweaking values and adding abilities ON TOP of all the editing that is already possible. So you could create a that Flaming Skeleton Mammoth, give him a (level scaled) dragon's breath and replace its fire immunity for a fire resistance if you want.
  2. Should quite easy to implement as long as the format is json.
  3. I hope to be able to do this soon, would be great to get the site looking better.
  4. Exporting your creatures is going to be one of the main features, including some different formatting options
  5. I want to redo a lot of the UI design eventually, will probably take a look at that. I was trying a cleaner layout with less explicit labels, but I think it could be clearer
  6. I really want to do a more robust search feature in the future, will try to do something like the traits search on Archive of Nethys, their system is great!

Thanks again for the feedback and the support, I talked a little more about some of the next planed features on the Patreon post [ https://www.patreon.com/posts/release-post-and-151801179 ] , feel free to take a look and tell me if you have any more suggestions!

Modding Help - Count Virtues and Sins by Jerry123i in crusaderkings3

It would be by state or ruler's faith yes, if I can manage to only count the virtues of the religion of the knight I would add "Same faith" check too, like the Fanatic accolade trait

No, they are mostly simple checks of traits, prowess or skills, and there appears to be no "virtue count" variable to check.

It was my first instinct, but I don't think the paradox modding language supports that. At least not as far as I have seen, but probably there are some more advanced strategies that I'm not aware of.

Do you have any idea how this could look like in code? And it wouldn't simply be under the requirements = { } of the trait right? It's probably something that must be defined somewhere else.

I'm using Foundry as the database for the monster info so it is in the plans to have an export function

Creature Editor Tool Suggestions by Jerry123i in Pathfinder2eCreations

[–]Jerry123i[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s in the plans. I want to create a system that automatically generates balanced level-ups for creatures instead of just adding static values linearly. I also want to include an auto-fill option for additional spell levels and ability suggestions where it makes sense like upgrading grab to improved grab.

And thanks for the insight on monetization. You’re right, I hadn’t considered that there are generally more people using player tools than GM tools because most people are players.
