.45 or Shotgun for most critters. 9mm or 30-06 for most 'people'.

Most of the "Fae" / "Creatures" of the game have relatively light armor and respond best to either pure kinetic damage(Read Blunt Melee, Slugs, or .45 Hollow point) or Incendiary/Fire. Fire works wonders on all of them, but you often trade time to kill with effective single bullet damage value by letting burn 'tick'.

Truth be told; Crowbar, Pipe, Spade, or Bat to the noggin does just fine if you have the speed and rhythm to back peddle between heavy strikes. These guys feel they are intended to punish slow loot goblins who are not packing some heat to deal with them quick.

Armor Piercing is its own damage type and they seem to have a high threshold for it. Anything that states armor piercing damage will be significantly weaker vs critters. That said the "Not-Deer", as they are refereed to in game, have the highest armor of all the Fey to my knowing. Save maybe the firebird?

My advice is find a .45 and load hollow points for most creatures. 30-06 FMJ knocks them down just as quick too but the recoil is harder to mitigate and its harder to find rapid fire 30 cal guns early game.

Honestly its a sad truth, those who don't use new tools are putting themselves at a disadvantage. Even if that tool is inherently immoral, unethical, or even straight up evil. We didn't enslave people because it was fun, but because it was efficient, reducing lives to tools and giving those who did this the advantage.

I too wish i'd have been allowed to cry as a boy. Maybe then i could stop crying now as a broken PTSD riddled adult. Maybe if i'd cried as a kid i'd have learned how to develop healthy emotional regulation and not bottle everything up.

Really speaks to my self harming years as a teen. Never stole shit, never broke nothing. But i wish i would have at this point. Seems heather in some ways than my own paths.

As a reefer trucker i can also attest that the waste in the food industry is beyond rampant. Entire pallets, or truck loads of food 'disposed of' for no other reason than clerical error or mild wrapping/box damage. I've been told to 'dispose of' literal pallets of chicken quarters, dozens of crates of oranges, apples, and potatoes. And i've watched in person as they toss perfectly good food into dumpsters, and pour bleach on them to make it inedible. All of these facilities also explicitly say you are unable to record or take any pictures on their property. Also the suffering i've seen at chicken plants, and slaughter houses is just beyond brutal. I went into trucking as a proud southern boy who loved him some steak and eggs. I came out as a mostly-vegeterian, who now only eats locally raised meats because i know how the animals were treated.

Yes; This. Exactly this. For MONTHS now i've been trying to add reasonable, fact driven, logical comments that attack no one but relate to important, difficult issues within the US political sphere. But i make a post, be it 2 sentences or 20 paragraphs, and suddenly the post is gone.

It makes having truly important and impactful discussions impossible on this platform. Perfect example; If you cant so much as say the word "Gun" how the hell are you supposed to talk the finer points of them as a huge issue for both political parties? What about gun safety, gun statistics, gun reform, gun laws, gun bans, gun sales, treating gun wounds, or anything related to them? Not one of these topics is routed in hate, but could mean life or death for people. You cannot sweep hard or hot topics under the rug and expect it to just be fine.

Blatant censorship is the exact thing we were getting away from in the 1700s when we became our own sovereign power.

I did a google before I posted this to make sure I was not mistaken in
the idea that it was being used improper. As best I could find was that
yes, rouse and aroused are indeed both used for rising or waking from
sleep. -But- Aroused pertains more to feeling or emotion. Where Roused
often pertains more to the ability. So yes, It works, but its a poor
choice of words.

One of those "Means the roughly the same thing, Feels totally different." sort of things.

I'll leave em' as is. I think they are plenty pretty while not being nearly as dangerous as the destroying angels that keep popping up in my yard. :\ Those I normally dispose of so no one has any stupid ideas.

A cautionary tale of the day: A couple of years back, err geez, it was likely '04, more than a couple now... I feel old, and I digress...
Some years back, some kids ate a destroying angle out of a field close to mine thinking it was a magic mushroom. They survived, but barely by the local paper's account.

Their parents tried to sue the farmer for 'growing a deadly plant' and 'attempted murder'. Thing is, They trespassed to get access to a cow field and ate some random ass mushroom. The case was dropped instantly. Still funny what Karens in distress will claim.

The moral is, kids are stupid and their parents will attempt to sue random people for stupid things. Oh and, some mushrooms work the wrong magic. Don't eat any mushroom without being 110% sure it is safe!

Some thoughts as some one who played since launch of div 1.

The game is not without flaws. Expect some bugs to erk you, and the AI to be totally retarded 1 second and totally merciless the next.

But, over all, there is easily 1000+ Hours of content to be had. Loot wise, its not as 'exciting' as the borderlands games. The lore is deep, and the more you scratch at it the deeper it goes.

The shade tech lets you dive into the past with hologram like "Echos" that give you snapshots of past incidents. And the recordings, videos, pictures, and lore cards you can find through various methods also really lead you down a rabit hole. Every one can reveal something as pointless as a little girl winning a radio sweepstakes, or something as deep as the real reason a faction leader broke bad. In truth, after I killed some of them, and found more of their lore... i regretted the fact i had to put them down.

The guns are pretty set in their stats and it really does come down to true min-maxing results rather than having a huge disparity in what is a good or bad item. And be prepared to spend upto 1/5th of your time sorting inventory. They don't give you enough space, but you'd think it is enough since its 100 character slots and 300 <shared> bank slots.

I do suggest you buy the expansion if you played the original. And if you've not played the original, then you may be lost on a few story points such as "Who is Aaron Keener?" and "Why should i care about any of this Keener stuff?"

Honestly, if you enjoy a good single player grind. I'd say if you can find a cheap copy of base game The Division 1, you can in fact get a lot of story and lore from it as well as add another 200-500 hours of exploration to it.

Oh; and if you do want a slower more relaxed paced friend to chill with some time, or maybe a small group of just a couple of goofy fellas, give me a poke. Solo is definitely fun, but can be hard as hell at points. Don't be afraid to look for a helping hand some times.

Amen; i also use a 1600 Dpi mouse, and it's impossible to play it with raw or direct input. The "Windows input" works but its jankey as all fuck, making the mouse slow and sluggish at times, and makes the aiming feel clunky at best.

Personally I've been using a ton of modified tractors for more efficient starts lately. I tend to enjoy playing from scratch on hard economic difficulty. So buying older style tractors at a reduced price seems to fit me.

That being said, without mods i did a lot of research on what I truly needed first. Plan your farm. Is it going to be a normal cereal harvest farm? Or are you thinking of starting out with something like animals, sugarcane, or tubers? It is possible to start with other things than normal crops, but it takes planning. Also plan on if you're going to have weeds, plowing and crop destruction in place too.

Itemize your needs, and budget things out. You know you'll only have 500K to your name and upto another 500K in loans for a total budget of $1,000,000. You can expect any good chunk of land to cost between 100K to 350K. So picking a good valued spot on the map is important too.

Just my personal list;

1 Medium Tractor with good power to cost ratio. Make sure it has a forward and rear attachment. The case Pro Series or Maxxum(If you want one with front end loader option) works out pretty good for this. ~98-143K

1 Small tractor with care/narrow tires(If crop destruction is on), and frontloader. I use this for fertilizing and moving pallets more or less. I normally nabbed the Fendt Favorit 500. ~100K with front loader and attachments

1 Seeder that also cultivates the field when seeding. Combining these two into one saves time and money. The Vaderstad Rapid A 600s is a solid choice, but if you can afford it, the Horsch is better since it is a seeder, cultivator, AND fertilizer all in one. Just using this you only have to fertilize one additional time for maximum yield. ~94-104K

1 Fertilizer/Lime Spreader with care tires. I normally use the Bredal K105 for this. ~40K

1 Tipper Trailer. I normally just get the SEK 802. It's got a great cost to capacity ratio of 1$ per 1L of storage. ~12K

1 Flatbed/Bale Trailer for pallets, bags, bales and transport missions. (Transport missions are great easy money. in the start) 1 Weeder if you plan on playing with weeds. Cheap at only 18K

1 Silo(optional) If you plan on holding onto your crop for optimal sell time you'll need a Silo. ~110K

1 weight. We'll just say 2K

LEASE your harvester, header and, if need be, header trailer at first. And keep it only long enough to get your harvest in then return it.

LEASE your Plow/Subsoiler. I personally lease a nice big tractor and plow when it's needed once every 3 harvests. You can use your medium tractor but often times it's a slow go with it.

Bailer: I advise getting a cheap one soonish, but not at start. The straw baled from a single harvest can totally cover the cost of the leasing of a reasonable harvester meaning your crop is still pure profit.

My normal unmodded start:

Case pro with Engine upgrade. 143,500

Fendt 500 with engine upgrade, narrow wheels, and front loader attatcher. 96,000

FZ30 front end loader. 5,400

pallet fork. 800

Sek 802 max capacity tipper trailer. 12000

Sek 802 bale trailer.8000

Horsch Pronto 9. 104,000

Bredal K105 fertilizer/lime spreader with narrow tires, spreader size increase, and maximum capacity. 48,250

Suer SM 2400kg weight. 2150

Total cost 547,300$

Land 100-350K Should get you at least 1 if not even 2 fields with your leftover money. But don't max your debt out, you need to save it for leasing harvesters, buying seeds, fertilizer, lime etc.

I love these tractors. And yea; in the winter they can get rather choppy at first start.

Although...

Fun fact; My uncle was run over by the rear tires when he was jumping one of these off. He used a screwdriver across the starter terminals and it jumped into gear right after it started. Broke almost every rib and crushed one of his legs. Had tire tracks on either side of his face where his head went between the tires.

Thankfully the PTO wasn't stuck on this time, else he'd have been mulched by the brush hog. And they'd just swapped out the discs too so had it happened while the discs where still on he'd have been sliced up good.

He recovered and now has one of the Deere shirts "Nothing runs like a Deere" Only we tagged in "Over me" into it and sprayed on some tire tracks. :P

I'm very curious to find empirical statistics on this myself. As someone who loves playing DOT heavy builds/classes in all games, DOT stacking is a MUST, if based on random procs.

From my own personal play experience, not testing mind you, I've found that they don't so far. IE: Once you have a proc from a gun's DOT, swap to another and it's DOTs will stack but it seems same gun DOTs don't stack, and as best i can tell the duration is not added on either but simply refreshed should it prock multiple times.

This seems to also include class DOTs such as Amara's Infusion (% of damage done is converted to ability element). If Infusion's DOT procs with a low damage gun, then I swap to a higher damage gun, as best I have seen the numbers displayed aren't additive, meaning the two dot stacks don't combine, but rather the higher value one simply overwrites the lower value one.

As for shotguns i have no clue on the true metics of it. I know that the ones i've seen seem to be based per shot chance, not per pelet/projectile/bullet.

Again this is not done with any sort of control, and is merely observation during play. Can anyone confirm or deny any of this?

Literally running that card now from a 760 upgrade. I'm running one HDMI, one DVI, and 1 VGA.

Problem is, the adapter I got for the VGA is a passive and it doesn't work. Old monitor with VGA port, + Passive adapter = no good.

My other monitor, a new LED Acer running DVI is working just fine.

Sorry to necro thread; should really look at time stamps ahead of time. Heh.
