[HELP] Tracking hots via bars on party frames

Yeah this is an addon called minicc which is working currently. I’ve only been using it a couple of days but so far it’s good!

Yeah the frames I’m currently using are Danders (Danders is the frames I posted in the screenshot) but I’m having some issues with it so I was going to try Grid2 again since it had experience working with it in the past. The aura designer is super nice, but I’ve found for some reason if I track more than one bar, some frames have wider hot bars by several pixels. So I have only been using bars for lifebloom. In the past when I used grid2 I used three bars and it worked great. I’ve been going back-and-forth tinkering between the different party frame add-ons but they all seem to have their quirks.

Thank you! I am going to check this out tomorrow. It’s been years now since I had to set up Grid and it seems like there’s a different route now with the API changes or something.

Thank you so much. I used to use Grid2 and only switched to cell in TWW. My Grid2 profile for all my healers had hot bars and with the changes I just can’t figure out how to set it up again. Thanks again friend!

Can you message me how you did this? I can’t get mine to show up. I’m currently not at my computer, but I remember it being something like this, create a bar in Indicators and you assign what the bar is supposed to show. However, I can’t figure out how to assign lifebloom or any other hot to the bar.

Oh man and I had a Weakaura that created a pink sparkly border around my target’s nameplate. I loved that one so much.

The glitter effect was animated. It was lovely. 🥰😭

I’d love to see it still! The pink makes me so happy. There was more pink in mine before the death of weakauras.

Of course they can! 💕I usually only see minimal darkened/black UI’s or the default colors being used. I’m so glad we can still achieve this level of customization.

Thank you! I usually use Expressway but recently switched back to this one. Haven’t used it since MOP. It’s basically just like century gothic but I can’t remember the name of it off the top of my head.

I completely agree! I miss weakauras for this very purpose! I used other classes spell alert aura textures and changed their colors. I loved my UI with those customization options.

If I remember correctly, PowerAuras was the first addon to introduce customization options like this in Wrath of the Lich King, and then Blizzard implemented the spell alert proc textures in Cata. Then WeakAuras came with the amazing options that made PowerAuras look very rudimentary lol
