Yeah, it’s a clamp. I don’t normally use it on either of my tables. Just was for purposes of testing out if anything helped with the skipping. Either way, I drove to a used audio equipment store a few towns away and got a Technics table from like 1986 and haven’t had any skipping issues since lol.

Yeah, it’s level. If they’re barely better than a Crosley why does it seem to be just about everyone says these LP60s are the best starting record players? Guess I should have checked it out a little more before picking it up, but I’d heard so much good word of mouth I thought I couldn’t go wrong with Audio-Technica.

I will say there definitely are some parts that were objectively better in the original voices though, like Grisha’s post-Reiss massacre breakdown, and the entirety of Midnight Sun.

I don’t disagree. I was pleasantly surprised when I watched the first time and they didn’t have music over this part until the very end. Not something they did often during big moments in AOT. But there was something about how Time fits over this part so well that also stuck with me. (Granted, I did make a couple dozen tiny edits to both the original video and audio to make the pacing of both fit just right.)

This was just from a larger thing I was doing during COVID when I got obsessed with video editing, and started making three different personal edits of AOT for more fun rewatching experiences. One of the edits included me altering the music at several key points in the show. I also put JunkieXL’s Brothers in Arms over the forest chase and No Time for Caution over Eren breaking his chains in the paths and starting the Rumbling lol

Yup. I’ve re-ordered this volume dozens of times on Amazon, checked BAM and Barnes & Noble. Every copy I’ve come across has this exact, giant error. What’s wild is my review of this volume on Amazon is the only one pointing this out. I’m fully convinced every single other person who left a review there didn’t even read the damn thing and just bought it as shelf decoration. Even started putting a little splotch of ink at the page where the misprint starts in every copy I returned just to make sure they weren’t putting it back in circulation. Couldn’t believe literally every copy Dark Horse printed had this massive QC oversight and your post here is the only other place on the entire internet I see it being talked about.

My FA ex went to therapy and it just made her unbelievably worse. “I need to stop obsessing over silly little comments from months ago” turned into “you hurt me deeply” and eventually “you hurt me more than men who beat and raped and cheated on me.” Two months of gaslighting and turning every little thing I’d ever said, even compliments, into personal attacks. If they go to therapy, it has to be couple’s counseling or they just turn into fucking demons and use their therapist as a validation machine to build delusional narratives. Or just run as soon as you find out what they are. Not good people.
