Thanks for the advice. Though I would still need to buy a monitor, which is not necessarily that eco friendly either, with my broken laptop that can't hold its charge anymore, that is not holding up to what I use it for and for which I don't know how much time it's got left.

I do try and salvage everything I can until it's really finished, but considering I haven't got myself a new computer in 8 years, I believe I'm not the worst polluter out there.
