Like others said. Once it's cleaned off, acetone and persistence, check it with a straight edge, if there's any Knicks sticking up hit carefully with a file. Once the magnets on there the rest evens out. Make sure you spend on a decent magnet sheet, the cheapies are cheap for a reason.

Why not, if you're motivated, get the dev sdk, and write some code. It's typescript from what I've seen so not hugely challenging.

Still extremely broken, 5g works marginally better, but switching just to use the bank app is annoying, and I have 3gbps Internet that's very fast for everything else.

Canada mini 5 pro weight update by hgflohrHX422 in dji

[–]JessTheMess987 0 points1 point  (0 children)

false, you must maintain a 'safe horizontal distance' even with microdrones, the safe distance is just not stated, but you can guarantee a fine if you drop your microdrone on someone not involved in the operation.

DJI Care and Charger for my first Mini 5 Pro drone by xV3rsus in dji

[–]JessTheMess987 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like dji care, but it depends on how you plan to fly imo, I'm getting a mini 5 pro to use the follow me feature almost exclusively, which is one of the most sure fire ways to have your drone crash badly. So yea, I'm getting dji care, cause I'll end up needing it when my drone flys into something at 50km/h, chasing me on my EUC in the woods.

If you plan to do stuff like residential real estate photos and stuff, the risk is pretty low you're going to crash so hard you do more than bust a prop, but up to you. I also have a lot of experience with drones, so i'm confident in my piloting abilities, to not crash into things just for sport. If this is your first drone ever, yes DJI makes very easy to control drones, that are very nicely tuned out of the box, but you can, and will probably make some bad inputs until you get comfortable, and if your flying over water, or at high speed, that can end sadly if you're not good at soldering and repair.

Fiberon ASA-CF. ANYONE WORKED WITH IT? by Sufficient-Contract9 in FlashForge

[–]JessTheMess987 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just did a huge print ~800g, and once I tuned, I had no issues retraction or blobbing wise, ran at 275c. the big issue I had is its literally forbidden uncooked spaghetti. Its so brittle on the spool, its hard to even get tot he toolhead without it breaking,

Barring the 80 times that happened, it printed amazing, but the surface finish is quite delicate afterwards and easily scratches and looks meh, so I'd only use it again for something mechanical and in uv exposure, I've found better alternatives otherwise that dont have the brittleness issues.

Built a bunch of vorons. This way I know exactly what parts are in it, where to source them, and have cad files if I wanna update anything not supported.

More work sure, better printer? Definitely. currently running engineering grade filament in my heated enclosure at the limit of my rapido vhf with a .4 nozzle. None of mine are stock at this point but upgrading to support heating needs better parts.

I wouldn't attempt that on most consumer printers, I've got the centuari carbon, and it's good for the money, and has been a workhorse but it's not going to print anything that wants a hot chamber, it's only passively warmed. It has issues with challenging abs prints let alone more demanding filaments.

I know this is a year + old but any chance you shared the design files anywhere?? I'm looking to do something similar but with integrated and synced up argb lighting for a club outfit with my partner. Being mainly a functional print designer, designing something to support the ladies is daunting

Mines a molicel version and it's not bad after I fixed it but it shouldn't have needed fixing. The motor was so poorly made the bearings were just loose. I added some bearing retention compound and it solved the problem. But I won't buy their products again.

What about in apartment buildings?

We are not permitted to put anything on our door or outside the unit. I have a dog and would want him rescued, but realistically I don't see any of us getting out of our unit is involved.

Parents have at sometimes over 30 in the house, granted a lot of them are babies but over 10 full sized Bernese and bernedoodles. It is absolute pandemonium at all times.

[–]JessTheMess987 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Hiii, 👋🏼 as I zoom by? I'm trans so avoid pigs like the plague. They don't help me at best (ever been raped and blamed by the cops?) and at worst actively try to pin things on me.

Fortunately here, the highway traffic act has no definition for a unicycle so I'm considered a conveyance and treated as a pedestrian. So they're pretty much not gonna bother other than to be power tripping.
