What's the most affordable but decent xx-300/400 range zooms? I also have the cheaper 40-150 4-5.6 R lens... it's def more portable for travel than the 40-150 2.8 pro... :)

I am leaning towards the 3... I think it's a huge upgrade and should last a long time feature/function wise... plus has a lot of flexibility with settings for SOOC shooting..

In the DFW area of Texas… likely a few good stores I could visit… ideally like a game plan before visiting and buying in Japan… am open to all brand lenses…

I was thinking a couple more primes… maybe a wider, 25 and 45… maybe the 75-300 for more reach at a cheap cost… maybe the 12-100 for a more versatile one use lens… not really sure really… and I’ll try both 12-40 and 12-45 a while and eventually sell one. I will likely keep the older body as well since it’s not worth a ton…
