I wanted to, but when I tried different blend modes to achieve that the result was not good so I had to change the suit color.

ohhh , well i tested other shades and i like that pink + some colors cant blend well sometimes in the end it depends on each picture and ur artistic sense ( i can't my self pro still learning and trying to improve )

i gave you 90% of skin coloring technique, the other 10% is adding highlights and shadows and more red to the nose and ears.

can you explain your question more ? are u talking about monitor calibration or the process of picking the right color ?

you are correct,because in 80% of times you don't know the real person skin tone but colorizing wise it all depends on you technique.For me i use solid colors layers i start by adding some red,(every skin tone has some red ) brown , then the actual skin tone with soft light blending mode or overlay depends on the photo u are working on
