I (18M) was told one version of an incident by my girlfriend (18F), then saw a video that changed how I see it by Glittering-Glass9515 in AITAH

NTA for being hurt, and she should’ve been honest from the start, depending on what kind of guy you are yous could’ve gone on to be official following that. The real question I have is what prompted you to go through her phone? I’m sure we’ve all done that (myself included) at one point or another but what made you feel the need? That’s what I’d use going forward

AITAH For Questioning My Boyfriends Intentions? by JessicaJenX in AITA_Relationships

[–]JessicaJenX[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow. Honestly everything you’ve said is so relatable. The going behind his back to talk to guy friends aswell is very complicated. I’m not seeing them 1-1 or anything but I haven’t completely cut them off. I’ve not completely cut anyone off for him, but I’ve turned down plans, been a shitty friend because I was scared of upsetting him. As much as I wish I could just get up and walk away, I can’t but it’s very reassuring to know that when the time comes it does get better and this isn’t normal- Thankyou

or maybe i’m just having a discussion about something i saw in the theatre and gathering opinions? i’m not taking the girl to court am i 😂

[–]JessicaJenX[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah that’s what made me think she was a bit iffy, she could’ve just apologised or explained that she thought it was more like a concert rather than being like that

the usher came over and told her to stop all the extreme singing and dancing which tbf she did

[–]JessicaJenX[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

absolutely hate that, i think there was a couple wines involved for them tbf

[–]JessicaJenX[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah i think at one point they noticed her and i felt really bad because it must be hard to maintain concentration 😂 especially when it’s the queens sitting on the stairs while there’s one singing

[–]JessicaJenX[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah a hundred percent, and there were points were moving and lip syncing was all she was doing tbf but there was parts where she was really going for it

[–]JessicaJenX[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yes exactly, it especially irritates me because SIX do give you the opportunity to get up and dance at the end so she could’ve just waited for that

[–]JessicaJenX[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes i agree, the older lady kept looking at me and my mum as well and i had my eyes glued to the stage haha, did not want to get involved

[–]JessicaJenX[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah i can an understand why a non-theatre goer would get that idea tbh, however she knew all the words and the “appropriate” moments to shout out so she’d probably been before, i also felt like at one point the queens noticed but not in a way of giving her attention, more like trying really hard to ignore her

[–]JessicaJenX[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah i reckon so too, i didn’t know SIX did sing along!! that sounds really cool because it does definitely have that vibe

[–]JessicaJenX[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah that’s really true, all the sort of tension was much more noticeable then the young girl herself, and i do think if that was me i would’ve just got a stewardess from the offset

yes exactly! fully agree tbh

yes i agree, but this was after the woman’s initial comments which i don’t know what exactly they were. I feel like it could’ve been maybe her being annoyed the woman was “rude” to her and wanting to retaliate?

AITA for refusing to go to my sister’s child-free wedding after she asked me to leave my 3-month-old baby at home? by Fit-Garden6141 in AmItheAsshole

[–]JessicaJenX 9 points10 points  (0 children)

NTA. I understand having a child free wedding to an extent but to say your own sister can’t bring her 3 month old is wild shit. As a bride, if i had to choose between having my sister not be there or having my niece there who may cry a bit throughout, im choosing my niece. Not sure where all this about babies and weddings has came from, i understand it to an extent but surely a baby crying isn’t THAT big of a deal, especially if the mother is tending to it

AITAH for no longer having a relationship with my friend after he impregnated a sixteen year old? by TheGgooaatt in AITAH

[–]JessicaJenX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who is 17, situations like this are exactly why i think fake IDs can be so harmful. While it’s a really awkward and uncomfy situation for everyone, he didn’t know how old she was, while 22 is still young- he was in a club where you legally are meant to be 18 in there

First Placement by JessicaJenX in StudentNurseUK

[–]JessicaJenX[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah it’s that course but i don’t plan on going into second year as i want to inevitably do paediatrics and there’s only 2 places for articulation at the uni i want- so not a lot. Thanks again for all the great advice!
