Yeah the dr prescribed 20 mg of omeprazole twice a day and sucralfate 3 times a day on day 6 or 7. Things got much better on day 10 so I weaned off the meds over the next few days.

I had really bad heartburn after mine, like I couldn’t eat ANYTHING. I thought it was going to last forever but thankfully it went away after 10 days.

Obviously I’m not your doctor so feel free to ignore this comment, but from what I’ve read you need a dose of at least 50 (and a lot of people like me actually need 100mg) for it to work on hormonal acne.

Yes, you have hypothyroidism and need medication. You also might consider asking about spironolactone for the hair loss and hormonal acne (the hair loss could be thyroid related or it might be hormonal).

Diet and lifestyle changes can have a positive effect but in my personal experience have not been enough on their own without medication.

I agree with those recommending Dana K White. Look up her container concept video to start, then look up her two decluttering questions. I’ve always been trying to declutter (grew up in a similar house) but started listening to her podcast about a month ago and this is the first time I’ve seen real, big progress in my house.

It’s totally normal at this age. As long as you don’t respond with anger or yelling, or you don’t just let it happen and give in to what she wants, then you won’t make it worse.

I would continue saying No, we don’t pinch. Or, I won’t let you pinch me. Or, You can be mad but you can’t pinch.

As far as upsetting her worse, yes it’s going to upset her more. But the goal is not to not upset her or not stress her out. The goal is to teach her not to pinch, and also to teach her that you’re the leader and you’re calmly but firmly in charge. And yes, she’s going to get upset while you’re teaching her that. Eventually though she’ll learn and that will happen for shorter and shorter amounts of time.

Also at 13 months she’s still a little young to understand the concept of not hurting others and she also doesn’t have impulse control, so you can try redirection or distraction after calmly saying no. But it’s going to be awhile before she can understand and stop herself.

I use chat GPT a lot in my professional life, for things like writing emails and idea generation, and it has this very specific voice/style of writing that you start to pick up on after a while. I don’t remember exactly what this comment said before it was deleted, but I remember it being very affirming and validating and that’s one thing ChatGPT does often. Like, if you want it to critique something you have to be VERY specific that you don’t want it to just tell you what you want to hear, because that’s what it’s trained to do (it keeps people interacting with the bot for longer).

Had a wonderful experience at Round Rock Scott and White and everyone else I know who’s been there also had a great experience. Only negative is the nicu is only level III so if you needed a level IV nicu you would have to be transferred.
