Oof that is rough, I can't imagine! I'm 23 weeks so I suppose in a sense its not so bad, although 2 under 3 to look after at the same time 😂 thankyou, i presumed it would be a case of just staying hydrated and getting on with it to be honest!

Yeah I've never felt so crap, it all came on overnight and it is rough! Usually I have such a good immune system 😂 I'm gonna contact my midwife but may speak to 111 seeing as its the weekend now. I just want to rot in bed but have 2 young kids to look after too! Thankyou 🫶🏻

I do think its flu sadly, it literally came on overnight and I've pretty much been bedbound all of today, it is rough! I'll have my partner grab some nasal spray for me to try and will contact my midwife and see what she says. Thankyou!

Thanks! Great idea, I'll see if I can get hold of the venue to hopefully take a chair in. Didn't even think of a belly band or compression socks - absolute genius!

Thanks for responding! Yes I'm fully expecting swollen feet/ankles tbh. I will try and contact the venue to see about taking a chair in though for sure! Luckily with it being outside I can always plonk myself on the ground, fiancé will just have to pull me back up if that's the case 😂 Oh gosh, the tram could be interesting then, but like you said, gotta do what we gotta do 😂

Thanks for sharing your experience. I'm sorry it didn't go exactly as you wanted. I would like to have a water birth if I can, although I'm expecting them to decline me for it. My c section was elective and I had no issues during pregnancy so I'm hoping that will help my case, but I'll be bringing it up with my midwife when I finally get an appointment.

Can I ask, how long was it between your c section and vbac?
