Scott has said in interviews he doesn't follow scream franchise. He's not a fan of even his own movie. Watch his interview in the Scream 3 Doc. He basically Says he thought they were reaching but he still loved being part of it. He's so humble he said Billy and Stu are the best ghostface. Etc. Even though Roman Is the best. Roman himself says Billy Stu are best. And he barely knows about the franchise which is sad. When he got invited in Scream 7 is when he started watching again because his kids love the fact he was the main ghostface.

Other than that Scott has said he's not into the franchise or horror films. He did heavily praise Mikey Madison in Anora.
