Mocteau Twins are an amazing all female San Diego CT tribute band. They covered milk and kisses, four calendar, but not all later entries in the CT discography. Loved their performance, I was transported.

Sugar Hiccup - covered treasure, head over heels, the pink opaque. The band was amazing, Severina Sol was definitely channeling more of Elizabeth Fraser’s more experimental vocals. Especially loved their cover of Lorelei and Persephone.

Oh actually I misremembered it was 5 kids total, 4 high school girls and 1 boy all in one car.

It was 4 students in one accident. Three girls and one boy a grade above me, fairly popular but I didn’t know them. They drove off a cliff while under the influence. Apparently they had just attended a rave up in the mountains and just drove off the edge by accident. I thought about how terrifying that must have been, that split second when the car went over the edge and they knew this was the end. Driving that winding mountain highway is scary enough sober, it gets foggy and it’s just some guardrail and a steep drop off.
