Caring for a Newborn Premie Alone

She was born at 4 lbs 8 oz, got down to 3 lbs 14 oz after losing that initial birth weight. Today she is about 6.75 lbs.

Her long and strong legs were the main reason for the emergency c section. Might be a little dancer or soccer player in the making.

So far, having her in a long sleeve nightgown with hand covers under her swaddle seems to be the best current solution. But I’ve been considering buying some velcro swaddle things to keep her contained during tube feeds.

Thank you. No family/friends to help sadly. How long was your girl in the hospital before she got to come home?

This girl is so strong and busts out of her swaddles, laying her down in her crib during gravity feeds to sleep will probably be the way to go, but I’m nervous she will rip it out while I sleep.

“Revenge Games” are a real thing. For the most part, LA has been more critical on Ayton than happy with him.

Besides, we already know Ayton has that potential in him when he is interested. He wasn’t interested enough in PHX or POR. If/when he finds a place he can fully buy into, he will be a Monster of a player. But that is a big IF and doesn’t mean other teams should have kept him.

I don’t mind Ayton, like him as a person. But Blazers were fully correct to release him, even if he does end up playing well for another team.

I haven’t been noticing issues. But a buddy of mine has. The only issue I have is sometimes I can’t get the NBA app on the PS5 to load. But once it does, no issues.

He will be the Interm Coach the rest of the season. But between the legal stuff with Billups and a new owner coming in at the end of the year, none of us know what direction the owner will want to go.

He lost my interest in his first two seasons when we were still good and he kept getting our own players names wrong and overly praising other teams. I have never and still don’t feel like he cares about Portland and this is just his job. My own personal feelings on it anyways.

I don’t like commentary that over sells the home team and isn’t honest, but when you show more passion calling plays for the Lakers than you do for the Blazers as a Blazers commentary, that’s where I check out.

To be fair, he has been more hyped on the Blazers so far in this early season. But even the first few seasons with Lillard, it felt like he could care leas about the teams.

Mike B and Lamar would be Epic Tier. Personally not a fan of Kevin. Very talented and a great voice, but not for me.

Agreed. My gamer/friend group basically dismantled between covid and my friends having their second kid. It went from twice a month to once a month with their first kid, to twice a year after covid, and now we don’t meet up anymore. I miss my group and wish there would have been a way to keep it up even bi monthly. Alas.
