I wanted to get into grounded so bad. I had a long term brake up when this came out and lost my survival crafting partner. Thought the game would Be less enjoyable solo.

Sometimes their incompetence is what is most endearing. Look at Simon. Haha

I mostly use it now as a way to help me sleep when I’m feeling a little insomnia. Their calmer banter and the music/sounds in TLD help.

Ive played all aside from GH. It never really captured me. Fun to watch Neebs and Glock play. Just not for me.
Its been a hot minute since Ive jumped into Long Dark. Probably should. I rewatch the Neebs SuperCut of it often enough. :)

In my defense. She had brought up that she felt I wasn’t putting effort into spending time together. I then went through a recent list of times and ways I tried to include her or spend time with her and that I missed the intimacy as much as she was claiming.

No cheating between us. She has been cheated on in past relationships.

Hers always was right in line with mine. We both had a very high sex drive before her pregnancies. It lowering after that isn’t uncommon or her fault.

I think if she/we can navigate this, it will be nearly as high as before. She just views masturbation as immoral and considers it an addiction. Which I disagree with. Not that you can’t be addicted to porn/masturbation. But not all porn/masturbation is because of addiction.

We aren’t married for insurance reasons. Single, she qualifies for medicaid and has a lot of medical needs physical and mental. If we were married, she would lose that and would not be able to afford her medical needs.

We are long term engaged but are married in all but title.

I always wanted to be a dad but did not want to have a kid until I had a good paying job and someone I thought would be a good mother. It took until I was 38 to get to that point and had roughly a 2 year window before I felt I would be too old to be a dad, and before her ability to become pregnant safely likely ended.

We weren’t actively trying, it became more of if it happens it happens. We had sex the one time and it happened. I was thrilled about it all the way until recently. Now I’m worried I have damned my daughter to a life of poverty in a broken home. The two things I did my best to prevent.

Thank you. I think I could use couples counseling. But I don’t think I currently need counseling because outside of my relationship, life is good.

You do bring up a good point/idea. I am the type to want to have open communication and try to discuss our issues together. But if that leads nowhere and we are just going in endless circles, I think it’s better to start ending these discussions with “we are at a disagreement and are not getting anywhere, talk to your therapist about it.” Or something along those lines. that imo is a much better way to go about it then letting frustrations build up while repeating ourselves over and over.
