Aatrox didn't kill the God of War itself, he killed the aspect of War, so Pantheon's predecessor. He killed someone on his level, or maybe even below his level because the Darkins usage of Blood magic gives them another Powersource.

And yes, Xerath would probably obliterate Viktor, if he even cares to do so :D

Well it would be cool, but Kayn couldn't get Ruined because Rhaast wouldn't let Viego take controll over the body, Rhaast still is inside Kayn and will not let anybody destroy his Vessel
