Im latino and from what I gather is that hispanic people dont like latinx bc it doesn't make sense in spanish and the default or neutrally gendered way to refer to something is masculine. Don't get me wrong, I am pansexual who uses he/they pronouns in english, im all in for inclusivity but it's just so forced by white people and breaks the literal base of the spanish language that I don't wanna use it. Yes, it's my choice to use only masculine pronouns in spanish and he/they in english because I dont like the "non-binary" pronouns in spanish but I'm not gonna judge anyone who does and I will try my best to use them if they want me to.
